Zeus is a multi-action, multi-articulated bionic limb combining ease of control with an elegant, robust design. The fingers and thumb provide a firm grasp to perform everyday tasks with ease. The fingers stall individually, allowing them to conform to the shape of the object, regardless of shape and size. Users can choose from 12 grip modes with an added option of 2 custom grip modes.

• Zeus is the strongest bionic hand on the market (152N grip force)

• Zeus is impact resistant and can carry loads up to 35 Kgs.

• Even in the rare case of damage, digits can be repaired on-site by a certified Zeus clinician without the need to ship off the product; the hand stays with the user, not the manufacturer!

EMG electrodes use advanced signal processing and provide wireless gain adjustment. The sensitivity and smoothness of the signal can also be adjusted. With a height of only 6.7mm, the electrode system is the thinnest cased electrode, facilitating the creation of a truly slim line, sealed socket.

Opposed Grips

Power Grip

Active Index Grip

This grip is useful for opera-ting appliances which require trigger mechanisms like power tools, sprays and hairdryers. The hand grasps the object and conforms to the shape of the object. The index finger is controlled proportionately to operate the trigger mechanism. The speed and force applied by the index finger can be modulated on the basis of EMG signal.

In this grip, the thumb is opposed, while all of the other four fingers close until they meet the object or receivea closing signal. The strong gripprovides 152N of force spread overall four fingers and thumb. This grip is useful for lifting large objects, shaking hands or crushing empty cans. Individual finger stalling means the grip conforms to the shape of the object so that you can lift things such as a wine glass. Thanks to advanced sensors, the hand optimizes the force applied to the object.

Precision Open Grip

In this grip, the thumb moves to a mid-point and stops. The index finger can be controlled proportionately to form a pinch. Middle, ring and little fingers close fully. This grip can be used for picking up small objects from a table or holding a pencil.

In this grip, the thumb moves to a mid-point and stops. The index finger can be controlled proportionately to form a pinch. Middle, ring and little fingers remain open. This grip can be used for picking up delicate objects and reaching between small gaps.

Tripod Closed Grip

This grip allows you to hold a variety of daily life objects like a pen, car keys, eggs or jar lids. The

thumb assumes a mid-point position while the index and middle finger move

proportionately to reach the tip of the thumb. The ring finger and little

finger remain open.

The grip a l l o w s you to hold medium sized objects. The thumb assumes a mid-point position while the index and middle finger move proportionately to reach the tip of the thumb. The ring finger and little finger close fully.

Non-Opposed Grips

Finger Point

The hand opens to the extent where it provides a slight curvature to support plates, bowls and books. The rubberized palm provides a flat, non- slippery surface to confidently hold objects in this grip

Open Palm

This is a static grip, where the index fingerremains in a pointingposition and the rest of the fingers close. This can be used for typing, operating a mobile phone or pushing switches and buttons.

Hook Grip

Key Grip

This is a commonly used grip for picking up thin flat objects, holding a spoon or turning a page. The four fingers assume a position to provide a flat platform for the thumb. The thumb can be contro-lled proportionately to open and close.

This grip is used for lifting up heavy objects like brief-cases, shopping bags and gym equipment. Because of the self-locking nature of Zeus, the fingers have a static grip capacity of 35kgs, allowing you to lift heavy objects with ease. This grip can also be used to provide support when getting up from a seated position.

This grip gives a naturaland lifelike appearanceto the hand. The thumbis in a non -opposedposition and closed. The fingers are closedslightly. This type of grip is the ideal state for the hand during periods of inactivity.

This grip is used to operate a computer mouse. The hand assumes the position of the mouse. The index finger and the middle finger can be controlled proportionately to push left and right buttons respectively.

The signal processing box collects and filters the electrode EMG signals, and outputs envelope EMG signals to the terminal device. The signal processing box contains a Bluetooth module, which allows the Element to communicate with the desktop software.

The user can view the EMG signals and adjust electrode gains through the desktop software.

The Element System has three components: » IBT Electrodes (up to 2) » Signal Processing Box » Element Desktop Software

The Element sends out standard EMG signals detected from the IBT Electrodes placed on the user’s skin. The Element System is an alterna-tive to standard suction socket myo-electrodes, with the advantages of a lower profile, digital signal processing, and wireless gain adjust-ment.

The electrodes detect and amplify raw electromyography (EMG) signals from the user’s skin. The electrodes plug into the signal proces-sing box.

BatteriesWorry less about making space for batteries. At less than 4mm thick and leveraging space-age flexible battery technology, FlexCells can fit into tight spaces. Build a natural-looking and streamlined prosthesis shell. Our low-profile design means no bulges for battery space. Patients enjoy the look; prosthetists appreciate the ease of fabrication.

Flexible Battery System

One Button For EverythingThe single button interface for the charging port lets you check batte-ry function easily. Press and hold the button to power the device on or off, or press it once to show battery level. Because it’s only 5mm tall, the charging port can be fabricated into a socket with little inward protru-sion, allowing for more versatility in battery and controller placement. Now fabricated with injection molded plastics, the charging port face can withstand more drops and bumps than before.

The magnetic charging connector simply snaps onto the charging port to charge the batteries. If the charger cable is inadvertently pulled, the controller comes right off, leaving the prosthesis safe.
