room instruction, role playing and

prac tical exercises.

c riminal investigations, tac tical operations and traf-

fic enforcement while receiving hands-on experi-

ence in administering first aid, learning defensive

actics, processing crime scenes and operating

simula tors for driving a nd firearms.

Applicants must provide at least one letter of recommendationfrom a teacher or administrator from his/her school, detailing why the applicant would be an excellent candidate for the 2012 Youth Police

Academy. Applicants are subject to a thorough background examination.
