Your tender for the above subject work is accepted at the rates quoted by you during negotiations in

respect of the following schedules:-

Schedule: ‘A’:-(+)20.5%(Plus twenty point five percent only) on USSR-2010 items.

Schedule: ‘B’:-(+)26%(plus twenty six percent only) on USSR-2010(Cement)

Schedule: ‘C’:-(+)20%(plus twenty percent only) on USSR-2010(Steel)

Schedule: ‘D’:-(+)18%(plus eighteen percent only) on NSSR item. This rate should not be used as precedence

for future tenders.

The total value of the work is Rs.94,47,913.72ps or says Rs.94,47,914/-(Rupees ninety four lakhs forty seven

thousands nine hundred and fourteen only). The Security Deposit payable is Rs.4,72,396/-(Rupees four lakhs

seventy two thousands three hundred and ninety six only). The earnest money deposit paid by you vide FDR A/c

No. 33684274865 dt 26.02.2014 for Rs.1,55,880/- (Rupees one lakh fifty five thousands eight hundred and eighty

only) issued by State Bank of India, Vijayawada is retained with the Railways towards initial security deposit.

The balance security deposit of Rs.3,16,516/- (Rupees three lakhs sixteen thousands five hundred and sixteen

only) will be recovered @ 10% from running on account bills of this contract till the entire amount of Security

Deposit is fully recovered as per clause -9 of Special Conditions of Contract.

You are advised to furnish Performance Guarantee as per Clause-8 of Special Conditions of Contract in the

form of an irrevocable Bank Guarantee/FDR for Rs.4,72,396/-(Rupees four lakhs seventy two thousands three

hundred and ninety six only) i.e. 5% of contract value valid up to the currency of contract period of this work plus

sixty days within 30 days from the date of issue of acceptance letter and attend this office for executing the

contract documents. Extension of time for submission of Performance Guarantee beyond 30 days and up to 60

days from the date of issue of Letter of Acceptance may be given by the authority who is competent to sign the

contract agreement. However, a penal interest of 15% per annum shall be charged for the delay beyond 30

(thirty) days ie.,31st day after the date of issue of acceptance of letter. In case you fails to submit the requisite

Performance Guarantee even after 60 days from the date of issue of letter of acceptance, the contract shall be

terminated duly forfeiting the Earnest Money Deposit and other dues, if any payable against this contract and you

will be debarred from participating in re-tender of this work without prejudice and action will be taken in terms of

Clause 62 of General Conditions of Contract.

to time and as per the relevant IRS/ISI specification, the copies of drawings can be seen in the office of the DRM/Works/office/Guntakal on any working

day.

8. Levy of conservancy cess charges will be recovered from the contractor’s bill for the labour engaged as per Dy. Director Finance (Exp) vide Rly Board

letter No. F (X) I/95/1/1 dt. 31.5.06 communicated by Principal Chief Engineer vide lr No. W.148/P/Vol.V dt. 21.7.2006.

9. The USSR code nos and description given in the schedule based on the USSR 2010. Any discrepancy notified during the execution of the work, the

schedule should be treated as a authoritative of the contractor. The relevant rates applicable to the respective sub-chapter will apply.

10. Power supply will not be arranged by Railways. Contractor has to make his own arrangements for supply required for the work.

11. The contractor shall be responsible to take all precautions to ensure the safety of the public wherein on public or Railway and shall post such look-out

men as may in the opinion of the engineer-in-charge required to comply with regulation as pertaining to the work.

12. The rate includes crossing of track wherever necessary.

13. Contractor has to submit the design mix for various grade of concrete if any as per approved drawings, IS specification etc., /or as directed by

engineering in charge.
