Lynne Nicodemus Principal, Pittsburg Adult Education Center
Hello Friends of Adult Education,
I have been the principal of Pittsburg Adult Education Center for a
little over a year and the school is bustling with new and improved
services. It is our heartfelt goal to help our community members to
reach and surpass the goals you have to improve your lives and
those of your families.
20% of adults in California lack a High School Diploma. California
residents with less than a High School Diploma or its equivalency
earn approximately $20,000 a year while those with a diploma and
some college earn an average of $37,000 a year.
California adult schools are charged by the California Department of Education with this
mission:
To advance California’s economic, workforce development and societal goals by preparing
adult learners for college, career, and civic responsibility.
Pittsburg Adult Education staff continually reviews and improves our program at all levels to
make sure, that when you come to us, you will find our programs provide strong support in
preparing you for a productive future.
My door is always open to hear what Pittsburg Adult can do to move you along your Career
Pathway.
Warm regards,
Lynne Nicodemus, Principal
