Additional Comments
GENDER EQUALITY BY 2015, YES WE MUST!
Strengths – Council has a good working relationship with the stakeholders especially Anglo Gold Ashanti.
Challenges - the council lost its municipality status due to the financial difficulties that we faced as a town. The outsourcing of key functions like water, electricity negatively affected the council coffers, hence the town is not development at a rate that can allow us to reclaim our municipal status.
Lesson learned-KRB realised the need to appoint a focal person.
