You and your team will research alternative sources of energy and will create a speech that will present advantages to using your energy and why that would be the best energy to use in our state (you will be graded on written speech and oral delivery of speech)

After this is complete, we will have a class debate, we will vote on which speech convinced us the most and then the group that wins will present it to the president.

You all did a great job on the speeches and the delivery of the debate!

The president will use your ideas to increase our energy resources so you will never again have to worry about that power shortage when you are playing your video games.  Or will you?  Now that you have become an energy expert, you realize that just because energy seems plentiful now doesn't mean it should be wasted!
