    Xstratas Mission

    Statement

We will grow and manage a diversifed portolio

o metals and mining businesses with the single

aim o delivering industry-leading returns or

our shareholders. We can achieve this only

    through genuine partnerships with employees,

    customers, shareholders, local communities

and other stakeholders, which are based onintegrity, cooperation, transparency and

    mutual value-creation.

We require a our contractors to abide by

our stringent saety standards. Our ocus

on saety and the eectiveness o our systems

is evidenced by notabe improvements in

saety and heath statistics at our newy
