AIRGUN SAFETY

1. NEVER POINT AN AIRGUN ATSOMETHING THAT IS NOT SAFE TOSHOOT.

Never let the muzzle of an airgun point atany part of your body or at another person.This is especially important when loadingor unloading the airgun.When you are shooting at a target, knowwhat is behind it.If you miss your target or if the pellet pene-trates the target, it is your responsibility toensure that the shot does not cause unin-tended injury or damage.

2. AN AIRGUN CAN CAUSE PERMA-NENT INJURY OR DEATH. ALWAYSTREAT AN AIRGUN AS A REALFIREARM AND AS IF IT WAS LOADED.

Never assume that an airgun is unloaded. Theonly certain way to ensure that an airgun is

not loaded is to openthe barrel and visual-ly examine the insideto see if a pellet ispresent.

3. STORE YOUR AIRGUN SO THAT CHIL-DREN CANNOT GAIN ACCESS TO IT.

It is your responsibility to ensure that childrenunder the lawful age of possession of an air-gun or other unauthorized persons do notgain unsupervised access to your airgun.To reduce the risk of accidents involvingchildren, unload your airgun, lock it andstore the pellets in a separate lockedlocation.

Please note that devices intended to preventaccidents - for example, cable locks, triggerlocks, etc, - may not prevent use or misuse ofyour airgun by a determined person. Steelgun safes may be more appropriate to redu-ce the likelihood of intentional misuse of anairgun by an unauthorized child or person.

4. NEVER SHOOT AT WATER OR AT AHARD SURFACE.

Shooting at the surfa-ce of water or at arock or other hard sur-face increases thechance of ricochets orfragmentation of thepellet, which canresult in the projectilestriking an unintendedor peripheral target.

5. KNOW THE SAFETY FEATURES OFTHE AIRGUN YOU ARE USING, BUTREMEMBER: SAFETY DEVICES ARENOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR SAFEHANDLING PROCEDURES.

Keep your airgun on “safe” until ready to fire,but never rely solely on a safety device toprevent an accident. It is imperative that youknow and use the safety features of the par-ticular airgun you are handling, but accidentscan best be prevented by following the safehandling procedures described in thesesafety rules and elsewhere in the productmanual.

To further familiarize yourself with the properuse of airguns, take an airgun Safety Coursetaught by an expert in airgun use and safetyprocedures.

6. PROPERLY MAINTAIN YOUR AIRGUN.

Store and carry yourairgun so that dirt orlint does not accumu-late in the workingparts. Clean and oilyour airgun, followingthe instructions pro-vided your user’s ma-nual, after each use toprevent corrosion, damage to the barrel oraccumulation of impurities.

Always check the barrel prior to loading toensure that it is clean and free from obstruc-tions. Firing against an obstruction cancause a dangerous build up of pressureand might injure yourself or othersnearby. If you hear an unusual noise whenshooting, stop firing immediately, engagethe manual safety and unload the airgun.Make sure the barrel is free from anyobstruction.

7. USE PROPER PELLETS.

Be certain that each pellet you use is in theproper caliber for the airgun. The caliber ofthe airgun is clearly marked on the barrel ofthe airgun. The use of low quality pellets mayaffect the accuracy or obstruct the barrel byaccumulation of pellets inside the barrel.

8. ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTIVE GLAS-SES WHEN SHOOTING.

A pellet or pellet frag-ments can blow backor ricochet and causeserious injury inclu-ding the possible lossof eyesight. Theshooter and bystan-ders must alwayswear impact resistantshooting glasses when firing any airgun.

9. NEVER CLIMB A TREE, FENCE OR OB-STRUCTION WITH A LOADED AIRGUN.

Open barrel beforeclimbing or descend-ing a tree or beforeclimbing a fence orjumping over a ditchor obstruction. Neverpull or push a loadedairgun toward yourselfor another person.

10. AVOID ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGESAND JUDGMENT OR REFLEX IMPAIR-ING MEDICATION WHEN SHOOTING.

Do not drink andshoot. If you takemedication that canimpair motor reactionsor judgment, do nothandle an airgun whi-le you are under theinfluence of the medi-cation.

11. NEVER TRANSPORT A LOADED AIR-GUN.

Unload an airgunbefore putting it in avehicle. Hunters andtarget shooters shouldload their airgun onlyat their destination.

12. NEVER FIRE YOUR AIRGUNS WITH-OUT PELLETS IN THE BARREL.

This may permanently damage your rifle.

Your airgun has an automatic locking safetywhich engages automatically when youcock your gun. The safety slide is situatedat the end of the compression tube (fig. C):� Back = safe

Safety button fully rearward - white dotvisible - the safety is in the “ON” or “Safe”position

� Forward = fire Push the safety button fully forward - whi-te dot not visible - to put the safety in the“OFF” or “Fire” position.

ADJUSTING THE TRIGGER

Trigger pull is adjusted in the factory, anddoes not need adjustment for most shooters.This two stage trigger has an adjustingscrew for second stage length adjustment(fig. N).

This feature is for experienced shooterson models X10, X20, X20 Suppressor,Atac, Atac Suppressor and X50.� To reduce second stage length, turn

screw clockwise.� To increase second stage length, turn

screw counter clockwise.

COCKINGPoint the airgun in safe direction while keep-ing your finger off the trigger (fig. Q).

With one hand grasp stock at the pistolgrip. Holding the rifle firmly, tap barrelbehind front sight in order to break lockedposition (fig. R).

Grasp barrel behind the front sight and pulldownward until it stops.You will hear an audi-ble click of the trigger mechanism lock whenthe pressure is released. You must control,and not release, the barrel under strongresistance until the audible click is heard.Be careful not to pinch your hand or fingersin the hinge area (fig. S).

Check pellet to ensure it matches the cali-ber of the airgun. Insert pellet into the bar-rel until skirt is flush with breech face (fig.T).

Move barrel back to its original locked posi-tion.Again, be careful not to pinch your hand orfingers in the hinge area (fig. U).

SHOOTING: AIMING ANDFIRING

Keep finger outside trigger guard until ontarget, push safety button fully forward,squeeze trigger. Safety can be put back to“On” or “Safe” positions at any time by pul-ling fully rewarded (white dot visible).

AIRGUN MAINTENANCE

Airgun care requires very little cleaning andmaintenance.Mechanicals parts:Barrel should be cleaned before storage orat least after 500 shots with a cleaning rod(avoid brass brushes for rifling preserva-tion), or cleaning pellets to be fired as areal pellet. You can apply a drop of gun oilinto the barrel.

Every 1000 shots, apply a drop of gunlubricant into the compression chamber(fig. W).

Blued parts as barrel and compressioncylinder should be protected from rusting.Maintain protection by wiping these partswith a lightly oiled pad.

All visible mechanicals parts, breach, trig-ger, safety may be lightly oiled as neededto maintain a proper function.

Stock care:Synthetic stocks require no maintenanceexcept wiping clean and drying with a softcloth or towel. Wooden stocks should onlybe stored at room temperature becauseexcessive heat can crack them. A woodenstock can be polished with oil and a softcloth.

Storage:� Do not leave the rifle in the cocked posi-

tion, as this weakens the mainspring.� Decock your airgun by firing in a safe

direction and always strictly respect allsafety rules.

� Do not leave the rifle in humid environ-ment.

� Do not attempt to disassembleyour airgun. Take or send it toan authorized service station.

� Do not modify your airgun,handling it in a different manneras described in this manual, asthis could make your gun unsafeand you will void the warranty.

� Any modification may make thegun unsafe to use, and causeserious injury or death.

� Do not fire the airgun withoutpellet in the barrel (dry fire) asthis may damage you airgun per-manently.

In the event this is not possible, authorizedservice and repairs will be issued a RA(Return Authorization) Number. Write thisnumber boldly on the box. Include a note inthe box stating the defect or problem alongwith your name, address and phone num-ber. Return prepaid to:

Warranty Claims

All Stoeger Airguns carry a limited 2year warranty.Stoeger Industries to You - This new Stoe-ger Airgun is warranted only to the originalretail purchaser, for two years from the dateof purchase. This warranty applies only if theproduct was purchased from an authorizedStoeger reseller in United States.

Stoeger will at its option, repair or replacewithout charge any product fails due to adefect in workmanship or materials. Partsand labor are included. Repairs are warrant-ed for the duration of the original warranty. IfStoeger replaces an airgun under its origi-nal warranty, you will receive a new twoyear warranty. Stoeger will return replace-ment airgun to you freight prepaid.

Return the complete unloaded airgun with adetailed description of the problem. Youmust provide Stoeger satisfactory proof ofthe date of original purchase if the warrantyregistration is not on file. Only a salesreceipt or properly completed warranty regi-stration card for a new Stoeger airgun willestablish eligibility for warranty repairswhen a product is returned. You must provi-de proof of the date you purchased a newStoeger product at the time you send a pro-duct for warranty repair.

What is Not Covered - The warranty doesnot cover defects or damage caused by:1) Misuse or accident2) Failure to provide proper care and main-

NORMAS RELATIVAS A LA SEGURIDAD DE LA ESCOPETA DE AIRE COMPRIMIDO

1. NO APUNTE NUNCA LA ESCOPETADE AIRE COMPRIMIDO CONTRA AL-GO A LO QUE PUEDA SER PELIGRO-SO DISPARAR.

No apunte nunca un arma hacia ninguna par-te de su cuerpo o contra otra persona. Estoes importante sobre todo cuando se carga odescarga la escopeta de aire comprimido.Cuando se dispara a un blanco hay quecontrolar lo que hay detrás.En el caso de que el objetivo no sea alcanza-do o se sobrepase es su responsabilidad ase-gurarse de que el proyectil no cause lesioneso daños involuntarios a personas o cosas.

2. UNA ESCOPETA DE AIRE COMPRIMI-DO PUEDE CAUSAR DAÑOS PERMA-NENTES O INCLUSO LA MUERTE.TRA-TE SIEMPRE LA ESCOPETA DE AIRECOMPRIMIDO COMO SI FUERA UNARMA REAL Y ESTUVIERA CARGADA.

No presuma nunca deque la escopeta deaire comprimido estádescargada. La únicamanera de asegurar-se de que una esco-peta de aire compri-mido está descarga-da es examinar el

cañón y verificar que no quede dentroningún balín.

3. MANTENGA LA ESCOPETA DE AIRECOMPRIMIDO FUERA DEL ALCANCEDE LOS NIÑOS.

Es responsabilidad del propietario de la es-copeta de aire comprimido que los niños,menores de 18 años, o personas no autori-zadas, no tengan acceso a ella si no estánbajo la supervisión de personas autorizadas.Para reducir el riesgo de incidentes en losque puedan verse envueltos los niños, des-cargue la escopeta de aire comprimido,guárdela bajo llave y coloque los balines enlugar separado, cerrado incluso con llave.

Conviene tener presente que los sistemasempleados para prevenir incidentes, comopor ejemplo asegurarla con candado o blo-quear el gatillo, pueden a veces no impedir eluso o abuso intencionado de la escopeta deaire comprimido por parte de una personadeterminada. Para evitar el mal uso intencio-nado de la escopeta de aire comprimido porparte de niños o personas no autorizadas serecomienda utilizar armarios blindados deseguridad.

4. NO DISPARE NUNCA CONTRA ELAGUA O SUPERFICIES DURAS.

Disparar contra elagua o contra una ro-ca u otra superficiedura aumenta la posi-bilidad de rebote ofragmentación de labala o de los balinesque podrían alcanzarun objetivo no inten-cionado o periférico.

5. ASEGÚRESE DE CONOCER LOSDISPOSITIVOS DE SEGURIDAD DELARMA QUE ESTA USANDO: PERORECUERDE QUE DICHOS DISPOSITI-VOS NO SUSTITUYEN A LAS NOR-MAS DE SEGURIDAD Y DE USO.

Mantenga su escopeta con el “seguro pues-to” hasta que esté listo para disparar, sinembargo, no confíe sólo en los dispositivosde seguridad para prevenir los accidentes.Es imprescindible conocer y utilizar los dis-positivos de seguridad específicos de laescopeta de aire comprimido que estámanejando, aunque el mejor modo de pre-venir dichos incidentes es seguir el procedi-miento de uso de seguridad descrito enestas normas y que se encuentra en el inte-rior del libro de instrucciones.

Para familiarizarse con el uso de ésta u otrasescopetas de aire comprimido se aconsejaseguir un curso de seguridad con las esco-petas de aire comprimido impartido porexpertos en esta materia.

6. REALICE UN MANTENIMIENTO ADE-CUADO DE LA ESCOPETA DE AIRECOMPRIMIDO.

Guarde y transporte laescopeta de aire com-primido de modo queno se acumule sucie-dad o pólvora en losmecanismos de fun-cionamiento. Limpie ylubrique la escopetade aire comprimido,siguiendo las indicaciones de este manual,después de cada uso para prevenir: corro-sión, daños en el cañón o acumulación desuciedad.

Compruebe siempre el cañón antes de car-gar el arma para asegurarse que está limpioy libre de obstrucciones. Disparar conobstrucciones en el cañón puede provo-car un aumento de presión y causarlelesiones a usted mismo y a personas cer-canas a usted,

Si al disparar se produce algún sonido extrañodeje automáticamente de disparar, ponga laescopeta de aire comprimido en posiciónsegura y descárguela. Verifique que el cañónesté libre de obstrucciones.

7. USE LOS BALINES ADECUADOS.

Asegúrese de que cada balín que usa seadel calibre que su escopeta de aire comprimi-do requiere. El calibre de la escopeta de airecomprimido está estampado claramente en elcañón de la escopeta. El uso de balines debaja calidad podría afectar la precisión uobstruir el cañón con la acumulación de bali-nes en su interior.

8. USE SIEMPRE GAFAS PROTECTORASDURANTE EL TIRO.

Una bola o fragmen-tos de metal puedensalir disparados haciaatrás o rebotar provo-cando lesiones gra-ves, incluida la pérdi-da de la vista. Cuandose dispara un arma eltirador y las personaspresentes deben llevar siempre gafas pro-tectoras y de una resistencia adecuada.

9. NO SUBA A LOS ÁRBOLES NI SALTECERCAS O ZANJAS CON UNA ESCOPE-TA DE AIRE COMPRIMIDO CARGADA.

Antes de subir o bajarde un árbol, saltar unacerca o una zanja o cual-quier otro obstáculo, abrael cañón. Nunca tire oempuje una escopetade aire comprimido car-gada hacia usted mismoo hacia otra persona.

10. EVITE BEBIDAS ALCOHÓLICAS OMEDICAMENTOS QUE PUEDANREDUCIR LA CAPACIDAD DE JUICIO YSUS REFLEJOS DURANTE EL TIRO.

Evite beber alcoholantes de disparar. Siestá tomando medica-mentos que puedandisminuir su capaci-dad de juicio o sus re-flejos, no use el armamientras esté bajo elefecto de dichos me-dicamentos.

11. NO TRANSPORTE NUNCA UNAESCOPETA DE AIRE COMPRIMIDOCARGADA.

Descargue la escope-ta de aire comprimidoantes de meterla en elvehículo. Los cazado-res y tiradores debencargar la escopeta deaire comprimido unavez hayan llegado adestino.

12. NUNCA DISPARE SU ESCOPETA DEAIRE COMPRIMIDO SIN BALINES ENEL CAÑÓN.

Esto podría dañar su escopeta de manerapermanente.

MANEJO SEGURO

Su escopeta de aire comprimido posee unseguro de bloqueo automático, que se acti-va automáticamente cuando se arma la es-copeta. La corredera del seguro está situa-da al final del tubo de compresión (fig. C):� Hacia atrás = bloqueo disparo (Safe)

Botón del seguro completamente haciaatrás - se ve un punto blanco - seguro ac-tivado o en posición de “seguridad”

� Hacia delante = disparo (Fire) Empujar el botón de seguridad completa-mente hacia adelante - el punto blanco noestá visible - el seguro está desactivado oen posición de “fuego”

AJUSTE DEL GATILLO

El gatillo viene ajustado de fábrica y la mayoríade los tiradores no necesitan ajustarlo. Estegatillo de doble fase está equipado con untornillo de ajuste para el ajuste de la longi-tud de la segunda fase (fig. N).Esta característica está reservada sólopara tiradores con experiencia, para losmodelos X10, X20, X20 Suppressor, Atac,Atac Suppressor y X50.� Para reducir la longitud de la segunda fase,

gire el tornillo en el sentido de las agujasdel reloj.

� Para aumentar la longitud de la segundafase, gire el tornillo en sentido opuesto al delas agujas del reloj.

MONTAJE

Apunte la escopeta de aire comprimido ha-cia una dirección segura teniendo el dedoalejado del gatillo (fig. Q).Con una mano agarre la culata por la em-puñadura. Sujetando firmemente la es-copeta, presione sobre la parte final delcañón hacia abajo para desbloquearlo(fig. R).Agarre el cañón más allá de la mira delante-ra y tire hacia abajo hasta el stop. Escucharáel clic de bloqueo del mecanismo del gatillocuando lo suelta. Tiene que agarrar fuerte, yno soltar, el cañón hasta escuchar el clic.Tenga cuidado de no pillarse la mano o losdedos en la zona de la articulación (fig. S).

CARGA

Compruebe el balín para asegurarse de quese ajuste con el calibre de la escopeta de airecomprimido. Inserte el balín en el cañónhasta que esté a nivel de la superficie de larecámara (fig.T).Mueva el cañón de nuevo en su posición debloqueo original.Otra vez, tenga cuidado de no pillarse la manoo los dedos en la zona de la articulación (fig. U).

DISPARO:APUNTAR Y DISPARAR

Mantenga el dedo lejos del mecanismo delgatillo hasta estar delante del blanco, empujeel botón del seguro completamente hacia ade-lante, apriete el gatillo. El seguro se puede vol-ver a poner en la posición de “On” o de “Segu-ridad” en cualquier momento tirándolo comple-tamente hacia atrás (punto blanco no visible).

La escala y los números no tienen que apli-carse para las distancias, sino que sirven solocomo referencia.

MANTENIMIENTO DE LA ESCO-PETA DE AIRE COMPRIMIDO

El cuidado de la escopeta de aire comprimidonecesita muy poca limpieza y mantenimiento.

Piezas mecánicas:Hay que limpiar el cañón periódicamente,antes de guardar la escopeta o por lo me-nos después de 500 disparos, con una va-rilla limpiadora (evite utilizar cepillos demetal para la preservación de las estrías),o con una bala limpiadora que hay quedisparar como si se tratara de una balareal. Puede aplicar unas gotas de aceite enel cañón.

Cada 1000 disparos, aplique una gota delubricante para escopetas en la cámara decompresión (fig. W).Las partes de color azul, como el cañón y elcilindro de compresión, deberían estar prote-gidas por medio de un tratamiento contra laoxidación. Mantenga la protección limpiandoestas partes con un tampón mojado en aceite.

Todas las piezas mecánicas visibles, la re-cámara, el gatillo y el seguro, tienen queengrasarse periódicamente para mantenerun funcionamiento correcto.

Cuidado de la culata:Las culatas sintéticas no necesitan manteni-miento excepto limpiarlas del barro, de la san-gre, etc., y luego secarlas con un paño suaveo una toallita. Las culatas de madera tienenque guardarse exclusivamente en locales atemperatura ambiente, porque el calor excesi-vo puede hacer que agrieten. Una vez secas,se puede pulir delicadamente el esmalte.Conservación:� No deje la escopeta en posición de amar-

tillado, esto debilitaría el muelle real.� Descargue su escopeta disparando hacia

una dirección segura y respete siempretodas las normas de seguridad.

� No deje la escopeta en un ambiente húmedo.

� No intente desmontar su escopetade aire comprimido. Llévela a uncentro de asistencia autorizado.

� No modifique su escopeta de airecomprimido, una alteración quevaríe la configuración del armadescrita en este manual puedevolver su escopeta poco segura yesto invalidaría la garantía.

� Toda modificación no autorizadapuede volver la escopeta poco se-gura de usar, causando lesionesgraves o la muerte.

� No dispare la escopeta sin el per-digón en el cañón (fuego seco),esto podría dañar su escopeta demanera permanente.

NORME RELATIVE ALLA SICUREZZA DELLA CARABINAAD ARIA COMPRESSA

1. NON PUNTARE MAI LA CARABINAAD ARIA COMPRESSA CONTROQUALCOSA A CUI PUÒ ESSERE PE-RICOLOSO SPARARE.

Non puntare mai un’arma contro qualsiasiparte del Vostro corpo o contro un’altra per-sona. Ciò è particolarmente importantequando si carica o si scarica la carabina adaria compressa Quando si spara contro un bersaglio occor-re accertarsi di cosa vi sia dietro.Nel caso in cui il bersaglio venga mancato otrapassato, è Vostra responsabilità accertar-Vi che il proiettile non possa causare lesionio danni involontari a persone o cose.

2. UNA CARABINA AD ARIA COMPRESSAPUÒ CAUSARE DANNI PERMANENTI OMORTE. TRATTARE SEMPRE UNACARABINA COME UN’ARMA VERA EPROPRIA E COME SE FOSSE CARICA.

Non presupporre mai che una carabina ad ariacompressa sia scarica.L’unico modo perassicurarsi che inuna carabina non visiano dei pallini incanna, è quello diesaminare visiva-mente l’interno dellacanna per vedere

che non sia presente un pallino.

3. CUSTODIRE LA CARABINA AD ARIACOMPRESSA AL DI FUORI DELLAPORTATA DEI BAMBINI.

È responsabilità del proprietario della carabinafare in modo che bambini e giovani al disottodella maggiore età, od altre persone non auto-rizzate, non abbiano accesso ad essa se nonsupervisionate.Per ridurre il rischio di incidenti che posso-no coinvolgere bambini, mettere la carabi-na sotto chiave e riporre i pallini in un luo-go separato, anch’esso chiuso a chiave.

Occorre tener presente che, i sistemi impie-gati per prevenire gli incidenti quali ad esem-pio i lucchetti con filo metallico, il blocca gri-letto ecc., non possono da soli impedire l’usoo l’abuso della carabina ad aria compressada parte di una persona intenzionata a farlo.Gli armadietti d’acciaio sono la soluzione piùindicata per ridurre la possibilità di abusointenzionale della carabina da parte di bam-bini o di persone non autorizzate.

4. NON SPARARE MAI CONTRO SPEC-CHI D’ACQUA O CONTRO SUPERFICIDURE.

Sparare contro unospecchio d’acqua, con-tro una roccia o altrasuperficie dura, au-menta la possibilità dirimbalzi o frammenta-zione dei pallini, chepotrebbero involonta-riamente colpire unbersaglio secondario.

5. ACCERTARSI DI CONOSCERE I DISPO-SITIVI DI SICUREZZA DELLA CARABINAAD ARIA COMPRESSA CHE SI STAUSANDO, MA RICORDATE: TALI DISPO-SITIVI NON SOSTITUISCONO LE NOR-ME DI SICUREZZA E DI MANEGGIO.

Mantenere la carabina “in sicura” fino almomento in cui si è pronti a sparare, tuttaviaper prevenire gli incidenti non fare mai affi-damento solo sui dispositivi di sicurezza. Èindispensabile conoscere ed utilizzare idispositivi di sicurezza specifici della carabinaad aria compressa che si sta maneggiando,ma gli incidenti possono essere prevenuti nelmodo migliore, seguendo le procedure dimaneggio in sicurezza, descritte in questenorme ed all’interno del libretto di istruzioni.

Per prendere maggiore confidenza con le rego-le per l’uso appropriato delle carabine ad ariacompressa, è consigliabile seguire un Corsodi Sicurezza sulle carabine, tenuto da espertinell’utilizzo e nelle procedure di sicurezza.

6. EFFETTUARE UNA MANUTENZIONEAPPROPRIATA DELLA CARABINA ADARIA COMPRESSA.

Custodire e trasportarela carabina ad ariacompressa in modotale che lo sporco o lapolvere non si accumu-lino nei meccanismi difunzionamento. Pulireed oliare la carabina adaria compressa, se-guendo le indicazioni fornite in questo manua-le, dopo ogni utilizzo, per prevenire la corrosio-ne, danni alle canne o accumulo di sporco.Controllare sempre la canna prima di carica-re l’arma, per accertarsi che sia pulita e libe-ra da eventuali ostruzioni. Sparare conun’ostruzione nella canna può determi-nare un aumento di pressione e causarelesioni a Voi stessi ed alle persone a Voivicine. Qualora lo sparo produca un rumoreanomalo, interrompere immediatamente iltiro, mettere la carabina ad aria compressa insicura e scaricarla. Verificare quindi che lacanna sia libera da ostruzioni.

7. USARE PALLINI APPROPRIATI.

Assicurarsi che ogni pallino utilizzato sia delcalibro adeguato alla carabina ad aria com-pressa che si sta utilizzando. Il calibro dellacarabina ad aria compressa è chiaramenteimpresso sulle canne. L’uso di pallini di scar-sa qualità può influire sulla precisione deltiro o ostruire la canna, a causa di un accu-mulo di pallini all’interno di quest’ultima.

8. PORTARE SEMPRE OCCHIALI PRO-TETTIVI DURANTE IL TIRO.

I pallini o frammenti dimetallo possono es-sere proiettati all'in-dietro o rimbalzare,causando gravi lesio-ni, compresa la perdi-ta della vista. Sparan-do, il tiratore e le per-sone presenti devonosempre indossare occhiali protettivi, ade-guatamente resistenti.

9. NON ARRAMPICARSI MAI SU ALBERI,NON SCAVALCARE SIEPI E NON SAL-TARE FOSSI CON UNA CARABINA ADARIA COMPRESSA CARICA.

Scaricare sempre l’ar-ma prima di arrampi-carsi su alberi o scen-dere da essi, prima discavalcare una siepeo saltare un fosso oqualsiasi altro ostaco-lo. Non tirare né spin-gere mai una carabi-na ad aria compressa verso Voi stessi odaltra persona.

10. EVITARE DI ASSUMERE BEVANDEALCOOLICHE O MEDICINALI CHE POS-SANO RIDURRE LA CAPACITA’ DI GIU-DIZIO ED I RIFLESSI DURANTE IL TIRO.

Evitare di bere alcoliciprima di sparare. Se siassumono medicinaliche possono determi-nare una r iduzionedelle capacità motorieo di giudizio, nonmaneggiare l’armamentre si è sotto l’ef-fetto di tali sostanze.

11. NON TRASPORTARE MAI UNACARABINA AD ARIA COMPRESSACARICA.

Scaricare sempre lacarabina ad aria com-pressa prima di cari-carla a bordo di unveicolo. Cacciatori etiratori devono carica-re la carabina soloquando sono giunti adestinazione.

12. NON SPARARE MAI CON LA CARA-BINA AD ARIA COMPRESSA SENZAPALLINI IN CANNA.

Potrebbe provocare danni irreparabili allacarabina.

MANEGGIO IN SICUREZZA

La Vostra carabina ad aria compressa ha unsistema di messa in sicura automatico, che siattiva automaticamente quando armate lacarabina. L’astina di sicurezza è situata allafine del tubo di compressione (fig. C):� Indietro = in sicurezza (Safe)

Il pulsante della sicura fuoriesce all’indietrocompletamente - il puntino bianco è visibile- la sicura è quindi INSERITA o in posizio-ne di “sicurezza”

� Avanti = fuoco (Fire) Spingere completamente in avanti il pul-sante della sicura - il puntino bianco non èvisibile - la sicura è quindi DISINSERITA enella posizione “fuoco.”

REGOLAZIONE DEL GRILLETTOll grilletto è regolato in fabbrica e la maggiorparte degli utilizzatori non avrà bisogno dialcuna regolazione personalizzata.Questo grilletto è dotato di una vite di rego-lazione, per la calibrazione della lunghezzagioco pre-scatto (fig. N).Questa caratteristica è riservata ai tiratoripiù esperti per i modelli X10, X20, X20Suppressor, Atac, Atac Suppressor e X50.� Per ridurre la lunghezza del gioco, girare

la vite in senso orario.� Per aumentare la lunghezza del gioco,

girare la vite in senso antiorario.

ARMAMENTO

Puntare la carabina ad aria compressa indirezione di sicurezza mantenendo sempreil dito lontano dal grilletto (fig. Q).Con una mano afferrare il calcio nell’impu-gnatura a pistola. Mantenendo la carabinaben salda, colpire con la mano la partedella canna dietro al mirino anteriore, perliberarla dalla posizione di blocco (fig. R).Afferrare la canna nella parte dietro al miri-no anteriore e tirarla verso il basso fino allostop. Si deve avvertire il click della messa insicurezza del grilletto quando rilasciate. Fin-ché non si avverte il click, è necessario con-trollare saldamente la canna e non rilasciar-la. Fare attenzione a non inserire le mani ole dita nella zona basculante (fig. S).

CARICAMENTO

Verificare che i pallini siano adeguati al cali-bro della carabina ad aria compressa. Intro-durre i pallini nella canna fin tanto che essinon risultano a livello della superficie dellaculatta (fig.T).Riportare la canna alla sua posizione diblocco originaria.Fare nuovamente attenzione a non inserire lemani o le dita nella zona basculante (fig. U).

TIRARE: MIRARE ESPARARE IL COLPO

Mantenere le dita lontane dal sottoguardiadurante la mira, spingere completamente inavanti il pulsante della sicura, premere il gril-letto. La sicura può essere “inserita” o inposizione di “sicurezza” ogni qualvolta si tiriindietro completamente (il puntino bianco èvisibile).

Le possibili regolazioni di elevazione sonomarcate nella vite di elevazione e si effettua-no ruotando la ghiera 1 di elevazione.

� Ruotare in senso orario per sparare piùin basso

� Ruotare in senso antiorario per spararepiù in alto

Le possibili regolazioni di derivazione, destrao sinistra, sono marcate nell’indicatore scor-revole e si effettuano ruotando la ghiera 2per la regolazione della derivazione.

� Ruotare in senso orario per sparare più adestra

� Ruotare in senso antiorario per spararepiù a sinistra.

Le scale di misurazione ed i numeri non indi-cano le distanze, ma hanno soltanto una fun-zione di riferimento.

MANUTENZIONE CARABINA

La cura della carabina ad aria compressarichiede una pulizia ed una manutenzioneminime.

Parti meccaniche:

La canna deve essere pulita prima di essereriposta o comunque dopo 500 spari conun’apposita asta per la pulizia (evitare lespazzole in ottone per mantenere al megliola rigatura) o utilizzando dei pallini pulenti,che vanno sparati come normali pallini. Ap-plicare una goccia di olio all’interno dellacanna.Ogni 1000 spari, applicare una goccia di olioper fucili nella camera di compressione (fig.W).Le parti colorate in blu, come la canna o ilcilindro di compressione dovrebbero avereun trattamento antiruggine. Mantenere que-sta protezione, pulendo tali parti con tamponioliati.Tutte le parti meccaniche visibili, culatta, gril-letto e sicura, possono essere sottoposte alubrificazione per mantenere una corretta fun-zionalità.

Manutenzione del calcio:I calci in materiale sintetico non richiedonoalcuna manutenzione; pulire con un pannomorbido. I calci in legno debbono essereesclusivamente custoditi in locali a temperatu-ra ambiente poiché il calore eccessivo potreb-be provocarne l’incrinatura. I calci in legnodebbono essere puliti con olio e un pannomorbido.

Custodia:� Non riporre la carabina in posizione armata,

per evitare di indebolire la molla principale.� Scaricare la carabina ad aria compressa

sempre in direzione di sicurezza e rispet-tare sempre le norme di sicurezza.

� Non riporre la carabina in ambienti umidi.

� Non cercare di smontare la cara-bina ad aria compressa. Recarsipresso un punto di assistenza au-torizzato.

� Non modificare la carabina ad ariacompressa; l’utilizzo in modi diffe-renti da quelli indicati in questomanuale, può rendere la carabinapericolosa e determinerà l’annul-lamento della garanzia.

� Qualsiasi modifica può rendere l’u-tilizzo della carabina pericoloso eprovocare lesioni gravi o decessi.

� Sparare con la carabina senza pal-lini in canna può provocare danniirreparabili alla carabina.
