Lucas DA Silva U12
and his father Joao were
invited over to the UK for
a 10 day professional
trial, with the English
Championship team
Aston Villa, during this
time Lucas played in all
4 pro youth games
against Chelsea, West
Ham Utd, Tottenham,
and Sunderland, He
scored 2 goals and had
several assists.
His time there was so successful that he has been invited back , he has also received
Invites from Manchester City, and Chelsea FC.
X-Pro Directors have exposed several players from Canada to the EPL in the last few
years including Canadian Youth International Keeper Daniel Milton, has taken the same
route at the same age with Daniel as he also worked with Chelsea, Aston Villa,
Birmingham City, Reading and Fulham before signing for English Championship side
Blackpool, where Daniel spent 2 seasons. Tye Smith also had trails with Aberdeen and
EPL champions Leicester City Canada is full of talented young players and I believe we
will be sending many more overseas in the near future.
X-Pro Soccer Camps has identified several young players over the last few
years in Canada, last summer, four young players were identified to attend a
week long, full expense paid UK tryout program. During their visit, the
players were exposed to five days of training and two full games with
four Scottish premier league teams.
They also had the opportunity to visit and tour several soccer stadiums
including Glasgow Rangers, Glasgow Celtic, Aberdeen FC, Kilmarnock FC
and the world soccer museum at the Scottish National stadium Hampden
Park.
The players where also exposed to high profile training games which
included several of the Scottish U17 national team players. The lads had a
fantastic experience. There is continued interest in their ongoing progress by
the Clubs involved.
TestimonialsColin Fyfe Miller is a Scottish-born Canadian professional football coach who captained the Canadian national team several times while earning 61 caps in total.I had the privilege to coach at last years X-Pro Soccer Camps and enjoyed it very much. I felt the coaching staff were of a very high quality and the sessions were both informative and challenging for the players. The players worked hard and improved a great deal as the camp progressed. I can strongly endorse theX-Pro Soccer Camps. You will not be disappointed.Sincerely Colin Fyfe Miller. EX Canadian men's National team Head

Players On UK Trial
Speed Skills & Moves
Action:
Field (A) Players drive into the position (2) and perform a protective move
then drive to position (3) then make a move and shoot and retrieve their
ball then join the line to repeat the process .
Field (B) 1 player from each team starts without a ball on position (2) the
first player rolls the ball out of their feet to signal the start of the pass, the
position (2) player then comes short and open to receive, and as before
drives to position (3) makes their move and shoots,
Field (C) As before with a player on position (2) and (3) player 1 rolls and
player 2 goes long then short and plays to player (3) who checks away
from player (2) and only moves to set and shoot when player (2) has
played their pass.
Field (D) The players start in the same positions as before, this time
when player (3) receives the ball from player (2) they must take a heavy
touch and drive towards player (2) player (2) must then run around Player
(3) to overlap wide, to receive a reverse pass from player (3) then set and
shoot as if they were 18 to 20 yards out, depending on age and skill
level reduce the power or raise.

4V3 in three zones
GR
Conditions:
Set Up
Teams of 3 with 1 floating Player, 3 channels as shown in 40 yards by 30 yards area or size
appropriate to age and ability of group. 6 small goals
Conditions
3 v3 for each team with a floating player which gives a 4v3 overload when attacking. When attacking 1
extra player is allowed into the channel with the ball to create a 2v1 to try score in any of the three
goals (doesn't have to be the floating player who makes 2v1).
Progression - Number of passes before you can score making attacking team play with patience.
