After connecting this is what you should see:

public_html

• On Makani all webpages must be placed in a folder named public_html

• If you do not have a public_html folder, on the remote system side click on MkDir and type in public_html & click OK

Select public_html on the Remote System side by double clicking on it or selecting it and then clicking on ChgDir. This will show you the files in that directory.

Now look for the file you want to upload in your computer or the local system. Select it by clicking on it or highlighting it.

• Webpages and graphics should be uploaded as ASCII

• Binary files are files that need to keep the formatting.– When downloading binary files you need to

make sure that you select binary or auto.
