(Allen Photography) 2-Car Accident Here On Friday In a two-car accident at the corner of Pickering and South streets Friday after- noon at 2:05 a car operated by Wallard Pearson, 1110 South Water street was in a collision with a truck owned by Ogdensburg Creameries, Inc., and driven by Harvey Vrooman of Harrisville. The truck was proceeding north on Pickering street and suffered damages to the right side of the cab. The other car was towed to the Geary Garage. Pearson suffered an abra- sion to his head and was taken to the Hepburn Hospi- tal in a police car. He was re- leased Saturday morning. FUNERAL RITES ARE HELD FOR MRS. LAURA GORDON WIGHTMAN, AGED 79 Funeral rites for Mrs. Laura Gordon Wightman, 79, a na- tive of Hammond and former' resident of Ogdensburg, who died early Wednesday morn- ing, were held at 2 p.m., Fri- day, at the Nichols Funeral Home. The Rev. Edward C Rorke, curate of St. John's Church, officiated. Burial was in the Ogdensburg Cemetery. ^Bearers were Ross W. and Donald R. 2-Car Accident Here On Friday
