BELGIUM

The largest container shipping company

sailing to Antwerp, the Swiss-Italian

Mediterranean Shipping Company

(MSC), is starting its own towage service

in the Antwerp port area under the

name MedTug Antwerp.

BRASIL

Wilson Sons will start, from the first

quarter of 2021, the construction of six

tugs, at the Group’s shipyards in Guarujá

(SP). The tugs will have 80 tons of static

traction (DWT), 25 meters long and 13

meters of beam, with Escort Tug class

notation. The first tug is expected to be

delivered in the first quarter of 2022,

and a new vessel is expected to be

completed every four months until 2024.

Boluda Towage SL and Dutch towage

company Iskes Towage & Salvage signed

an agreement on 20 January, 2021 in

Amsterdam to acquire the port towage

activities of Iskes in Eemshaven (NLD),

Lubeck (DEU and Lisbon (PRT) as well

as its offshore activities, together with

the management and office staff in the

head office in IJmuiden. Iskes will remain

a seperate entity directly under Boluda’s

headquarters in Valencia, Spain.

sold in 2020 by McAllister Towing and

Transportation to Mar-K Towing, Panama

City, FL. and has been renamed Patsy K.

OSV TAG 20, ex Highland Drummer (1997

– 9127318) operated by TAG Offshore

Ltd., Mumbai has been scrapped in

October 2020. TAG 20 is incorrect, the

correct vesselname is TAG 22.
