Chopin tales

Chopin tales are inspired in scenes of life and love

The romanticism inspired Chopin to materialize in

This musical creation the different aspect that love

has.“His music” Iñaki explains,“inspired me to attain

in this work choreographic movement that may

show the awakening of the first love, the pain of

frustration, the purity of real love, and the fire that

passion creates”

Page 13: Works choreographed by iñaki urlezaga

These four stories are the mirror of not only the

society of the days of the romanticism, but also of

present and future societies.

Chopin tales have choreography of Iñaki Urlezaga

This is a work of classic language ,in which scenes

of visual esthetic associated to the romanticism

within Féderic Chopin lived and developed his work,

but with a touch of freshness of garments, more

simple and lighter than those habitually used in

ballets of said period.

Dancer perform demanding Pas de Deux closery

related to the musical temperament that notoriously

marked the atmosphere of every one of the

recreated scenes :stories of encounters and

departures, love with a happy end and so ardent

passion that lover are consumed.

So were presented the different facets of one of the

universal themes by excellence.

lA TRAVIATA, PRAISED BY THE means

La Nacion said: “La Traviata” on toes, a real feat of

Urlezaga. He ran a great risks to make of Verdi‟s “La

Traviata” a dancing version .However, the dancer and

choreographer came out successful. Iñaki Urlezaga shows

excellence and talent at the service of his character.

“A soirée remarked by its highest quality” La Nacion, also

said about Urlezaga: La Traviata: Urlezaga and his double

success as a dancer and choreographer.La Traviata His

most transcendental work as choreographer…He

demonstrated to be a great interpreter for the role. An

impeccable performance as an actor and a dancer

“Ambito Financiero” Verdi danced from tip to tip”

materialized choreographically the famous opera .La

traviata the final scene in Violeta‟s bedroom is a loving

Francesco Maria Piava, and has attained-thanks to his

talent and knowledge ,a great ballet show with a really

interesting choreography .The audience gave an ovation to

A CLASSIC NATIONAL FILM LED TO THE BALLET

By Iñaki Urlezaga

Argument

Mario, a humble employee of a textile factory develops with

great effort, and pawning to do this every night of his life, the

project of a loom. It has the illusion of power patent as soon as

possible to obtain a higher income of money that allows him to

improve his quality of life. His wife, a poor and ignorant woman,

falls on the traps prepared by the boss of her husband, Mr.

Richardson, to steal him the plans of the loom and become

owner of the project. When Mario learns about the trap

prepared to him by his boss, he gets terribly enraged with his

own wife, and she unable to stand her blame, commits suicide.

So blinded by pain, swears to himself to take revenge and

materialize it.

This is how he poses as a charismatic beggard called Jucá, and

thanks to the alms given by rich men, who needed to purify

themselves, and his wide experience of life, he becomes as Mario

Alvarez, a rich man of high society. Being rich was not his purpose

if not take revenge of Sir Richardson, and so as begging day and

night, he can buy the stock of his former boss factory. Thanks to the

weaknesses of his useless son, who sold them on game nights?

In this new life he meets Nancy, a beautiful woman whom he

rescues from poverty. Without losing his objective for a moment,

Mario achieves to become the majority shareholder of the factory

recovering their dignity and feeling that his plan was realized. For a

moment, and focused to meet his goal, It seems Mario Alvarez

loses to Nancy; that ignoring the real story she plans to scape and

marry the son of Richardson.

Faces her with reality and she discovers how facts happened, that is

that, Juca and Mario are the same person, she decides to remain with

love

The choreographer takes the arguments of homonymous book by

Joracy Camargo. but in his narration emphasized how his creativity

grew up, when he saw the Argentinean film directed by Luis Cesar

Amadori. Being this latter what leads him to choreographic creation

In “the Voice of Interior”, Luisa Heredia ,from Cordoba quoted in September 2002
