This session
By the end of the session you will be aware of:
1. what we mean by part time work
2. the types of part time work available locally
3. where you can find part time jobs
4. legal requirements
5. how to get further support
What is part time work?
• Suggested Max 15 hours a week during term for undergraduates
• Suggested Max 20 hours for postgraduates
• International students’ visa restriction is 20 hours
Why do it?
• To earn some extra cash
• To develop your skills and experience
• To make new contacts
It’s not all about the money!
