the education, political and economic participation, among

others.

osts of Gender‐based violence  in

the economic development

• Gender‐based violence (GV) cause  loss of productivity in female labor force.

• Women victims of GV suffer great discrimination in theirworkplace and lack of personal productivity and laboral absence which cause overcost that could be avoid whithsome prevention measures.

• GV is a strong barrier for women’s economic integration and their economies, including economic development in APEC Region.

inan

cial literacy for access to

capital

Financial literacy allows women to know the financialsystem, its services, benefits and risks. In addition, it is a facilitator of the culture of saving andplanning income and expenses.

For women, it is often difficult to access the financialsystem and its services, making it difficult to enter themarket of goods and services; as well as its entrepreneurialpotential and generating wealth.

It is an instrument that gives women a series skills andabilities that enhance their potential market insertion
