I WISH (JALA)

I wish + sujeto + past(to express we would like things to be different in the present).

Eg; *I wish I didn't have to work in July.*I wish you were here.*He wishes he were famous.*I wish there weren't so many problems in the world.

wish+subject+would/could

Use: when we want to complain about a situation or things people dorepeatedly.( we want something different to happen).

Eg: -I wish it would stop raining.-I wish my staff would get to work on time.-I wish you would give up smoking

TIP don't use

I wish I would

wish+subject+past perfect
(jala+suj.+hubiera/
hubiese...)

Use: To express regret that something happened or didn't happen in the past.Eg:*I wish I had studied harder.*He wishes he hadn't eaten so much.*I wish your flight hadn't been delayed*I wish you hadn't abandoned me.
