Philippines now holds the record for the most medals without gold because of Mongolia winning its first gold medal at 2008 Summer Olympics.

Martinez began skating in 2005 at a shopping mall ice rink.Michael Christian Martinez is a figure skater.He was the fifth at the 2013 World Junior Championshipsand has won two senior international medals.In April 2012, Martinez tore ligaments in his knee.He landed his 1st triple Axel in competition at 2012-2013 Junior Grand Prix event in Lake Placid, New York. He finished 7th & earned a spot for the Philippines in men’s single-a 1st
