LUCKY IN LOVESky Masterson (senior Weston Bonnet) meets up with another gambler in the sewers to make a bet during the song “Luck Be A Lady.” Bonnet played the male lead in the musical. “My favorite part in the show was when I jumped down from the stairs immediately after socking Jeremy Jewett in the face,” Bonnet said. “It was a cool experience and I’m glad I got to be the lead in the musical my senior year.”photo by Zac Franklin
STRONG SHOULDERDuring the first act, Arvide Ab-
ernathy (senior Jackson Shoultz) comforts Sarah Brown (senior
Audrey Dickerson) after she fails to find people willing to go on
her mission trip. “Being in [the] musical was amazing because it combined both singing and
acting,” Dickerson said. “It was a lot of hard work, but I was doing
what I loved to do, and that made every moment worth it.”
