. Club Jackets For Sale

We still have a couple of the club jackets which are black in color with white stripes on the bottom and adetachable hood check for sizes at $40.00 and they do run a little small so you need a larger size than youusually wear. Call for sizes. We also have a new style jacket which is black with blue lettering and graphics.These jackets run pretty true to size. The M, L, sizes are $42.00, the X-Large size is $45.00 and the XX-Largeand XXX-Large size is $48.00. You can come out and try one on for size to see what fits. Call Sharen @708-301-8899 to buy one. LCCC Sweatshirts for Sale

The Lemont Classic Car Club also has a royal blue sweatshirt jackets with a hood and a full zipper upthe front for sale. We currently have 1-Medium, 2-Large, 3 XLarge and 1-2X Large these jackets left but wecan order more if our members want them. On A Sad Note

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the Passing of Jim Polensky on Febr 12 . Jim was alwaysth

in the July 4 parade in Homer Glen, he came out to many of our retirement home visits and was at almostth

every Sunday Cruise nights at the “Big R” with Tinkie his Basset Hound. He bought his dream car a 1972Corvette about 1 year ago and didn’t get much time to enjoy it. Jim was an all around Great Guy and he will bemissed. Rest in Peace Jim!

Wrap Party A Success Again This Year!

Our annual “Wrap Party” was held on Monday, December 4 at the home of Matt and Pam Dallio whoth

once again opened their beautiful home for us to wrap the gifts for the “Little Cruisers” Christmas Party that washeld on Saturday, December 9 , at the Lemont Township Community Center at 16300 Alba, Lemont Il. Thanksth

to Pam with assistance from Sharon Renkas and Sharen Moscato, for organizing all the gifts by age and genderand setting everything up so the wrapping was quick and easy, even for the guys! We at the Lemont Classic CarClub appreciate Matt and Pan’s hospitality and all the work they do for our club. Thanks to everyone that cameout and wrapped gifts to make our Christmas Party for the “Little Cruisers” a very special day for these childrenand their parents. Well Done People!!

Our annual Club Christmas Party

Our last event of the year is always our club Christmas Party at Aviana Banquet Hall. On Sunday, December10 we had a excellent turnout with 75 people in attendance. As usual we had a wonderful dinner in a beautifulth

room with a lot of laughs. This is our day to relax and just have fun. If you have never joined us at our ClubChristmas party maybe next year you will give it a try. You won’t be sorry! Our club election is heldwith the announcement of our newly elected officials and we have a special raffle for some nice prizes. We alsohad our slide show with photos of all our club events for 2017. We had a very busy 2017 and I am sure we willhave a busy 2018 too. We already have a couple of Retirement homes asking for us to come out to visit and

Moscato and our Board Members are: Sam Fiaccato, John Moscato and Ralph Rocco. Without our officers and our Board Members our club would not be able to accomplish all that we do. They start the ball in motion, thenit’s up to our club members to carry out the plans and if we all work together we have a great active club. TheLemont Classic Car Club!!! Thanks to everyone that comes out to our events and works to make it all happen. As we start to plan our events for the 2018 season we hope that anyone with ideas will come out to ourMonday night meetings and share them with us. We are always looking for new things to do with the club.

The “Little Cruisers” Christmas Party

This year our “Little Cruisers” Christmas Party was held on Saturday, December 19 from 11AM until 3th

PM.. This year we again hosted our “Little Cruisers” Christmas party in the Lemont Township Community Center located at 16300 Alba Street. This year we hosted 25 families and 53 children. Our Christmas Bingowas managed by Kurt and Joyce Severe this year. Thanks Kurt and Joyce!! Santa (aka Rich Renkas and Mrs.Santa aka Mikie Rocco were joined by two Elves (Sharon Renkas and Sharen Moscato) to talk to the childrenand deliver their gifts. Lunch was again catered by Chesdan’s Pizzeria and Grille and was delicious as always,Thanks Danny ! The children had cookies and cocoa before the big raffle prizes were awarded. Wayne Holouswith the help from Bob Lamont hand made a doll house again for one of the raffle prizes for the girls from 6 to9 years of age. It was really pretty! Thank You Wayne and Bob, for all your patience in building and donatingsuch a wonderful gift, we also had a 32' Color TV to raffle off to one lucky family. It’s amazing how just alittle kindness can make people feel so good especially during the holiday season. The Lemont Classic Car Clubmembers are always there to help out. Our members are the best! Thank you everyone that came out andhelped make this party the big success

Matt Dallio Retires From LCCC Board

After many years of dedicated service on our LCCC Board of Directors, Matt Dallio has decided toretire. Matt and Pam have opened up their home for our Club Wrap Party, has hauled the trailer many times aswell as stored the trailer on his property for the last 2 years, brought the tent for our “Little Cruisers” CharityChristmas Party, and has done countless other things in the past 11 years. He will be missed on our Board ofDirectors but he will remain a member and still be around to contribute to the club.

Again this year a special “Thank You” goes out to the “TOWS FOR TOTS” putting us in contact with theToy Box Connection who donated most of the toys that were presented to our “Little Cruisers” at our ChristmasParty this year.
