BC Ministry Choirs

The BC Ministry Choirs

have been busy this pastsemester. Serving not

only the normal Masses

throughout the week and

on Sunday, they have been

singing for large Masses as

well. They performed when

Archbishop Sambi visited

last Fall and also this past January when Cardinal Schönborn visited.

The choirs consist volunteers and directors.

Glory Story

Gregory Johnson

Theology and Physical Education ‘10

 Denver, CO

“As a senior going to the

FOCUS Conference, I had a lot

on my mind knowing that I had

one semester left of college.

What is my vocation? Whatdoes God want me to do in my

life? Will things work out for

me after graduation? So I had

a ton of questions that I needed

answered. I was struggling to

find a consistency to my own

Catholic faith, I flat out wasn’t

 praying enough.”

“Seeing 4,000 Catholic college

students and all the Priestsaround the altar just brought joy

to me. At adoration one night,

many college students knelt

 before Jesus. Just listening to

the silence and seeing everyone

on their knees praying was

incredible. I started praying

about everything that was going

on in my life, and I was given a

sense of peace. ”

“The Conference helped me to

be at peace with where I am in

life. It also helped strengthen my

prayer life. I think that now I am

a little more prepared for what

the world has to offer me after

college.”
