   Installation procedure for Wi-Max

Equipments required to access Wi-Max service:

1. 

Outdoor/Internal CPE (Customer premises equipment)

2.  Power Adapter3.

 

LAN (CAT5) cable

4. 

Computer/PC/Laptop with NIC/LAN card.

Fault Diagnosis procedure1.

 

open any browser (IE/Chrome/Firefox)

2.  In address bar, type the IP address 192.168.1.1(For black CPE)/ 192.168.254.251(for

white CPE)

3. 

for black CPE enter password as admin and for white CPE enter username as

operator and password as wimax

4.  Check for RSSI value. RSSI value should be less than -85 dBm 

5.  Ping test: go to start menu and then go to run. Type cmd. Black screen wi

appear. In that black screen type  ping 192.168.254.251(for white CPE)/

ping 192.168.1.1 (for black CPE). If reply comes then your connection isok.
