Captain Underwear, Princess Pantaloons, Commander Current and our newest DEFENDER, Queen Appétit, are calling all of Jacksonville’s finest citizens to don their capes and join them in tackling the oppressive forces of chronic poverty. Team up with DESC DEFENDERS and unite the powers of human kindness bringing soul-lifting basic needs of clothing, financial assistance and groceries to those struggling in poverty.
The DESC DEFENDERS are banding together big-hearted people like you to sponsor the work DESC does for impoverished and homeless families. For more than 30 years, families in emergency situations have come to DESC for immediate help. While it will be a fun-filled night, our superheroes have a laser-focus on providing tangible relief, hope and comfort for the poor and homeless.
