Why thermal imaging has helped us out a great deal During the first and second world war if you
dropped a bomb out of a plane you would only have a 30% chance of hitting your target and that chance dropped to 10% if you tried to do it at night.
But during the second world war a camera was invented by scientists and was attached to a plane and because of the heat being given of by objects it helped the English and the Americans Defeat the Germans.
Why it is so important
If we did not have engineering we would not of survived any wars we would not have ships, cars, planes, telephones and any other thing you can think of.
