Before he became a registered rep-resentative 5 years ago, Marc spent 20years working in corporate finance, in-cluding his most recent position as theFinancial Director for JWTs (formerly

Marc divides his time between work-ing with individuals on investing and re-
tirement planning and working with busi-nesses and business owners on retire-ment plans.
Ive found that many business own-ers are really surprised to find out howquickly and inexpensively they can set
up a retirement plan, either for them-selves, or for a staff of 100 employees,he said.
Some investors concentrate on short-term wealth accumulation, rather thanconsidering longer-term planning, whichtakes into consideration things that canaffect their savings.
I give actionable advice that takes thecomplexities of investment planning andsimplifies them into an understandable in-vestment plan that explains clearly howyour money is invested, where its going, and why.

Thank you, to all whove sent in your2009/10 Membership renewals. Once againits an important trust youve given us.
A Chamber of Commerce survives onlythrough the support of our membershipdues and commitment of our member vol-unteers.
The Orion Area Chamber of Commerceis growing, offering our members viableprograms and opportunities to grow their
business. We have some new and exciting pro-grams coming up in 2010 that we are alllooking forward to.
We hope to offer more opportunities toshare several ventures with our members, such as Open Door evening mixers, apossible bocce ball challenge, how abouta golf and gather opportunity?
A couple of interesting educational pro-
grams are in the planning stages as welland of course we are all just waiting forthe EXPO to come around again.
The Orion Area Chamber is committedto our business community.
During this uncertain economic time wehave strived to keep our annual dues af-fordable to our members. We have one ofthe lowest dues structures of any Cham-

to change that structure in the near fu-ture.We offer many of the same excellent
marketing opportunities and discount pro-grams that many of the larger chambersoffer and truly care about our commu-nity.
We look forward to serving the busi-ness community as we move forward inour 2009/10 membership year.
