After that you're going to be running after them for a bit of attention. It's so fast Peter. It's a few years, and it's over. Moira Banning (Peters wife) Photo: Hook / TriStar Pictures (1991) 4. PURSUE YOUR PASSION Photo: Dead Poets Society / Buena Vista Pictures (1989) 5. We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. John Keating Photo: Dead Poets Society / Buena Vista Pictures (1989) 6.
