Ruby the Copycat

I’m going to read part of “Ruby the Copycat” aloud. I’m going to read very carefully so I don’t make any mistakes. Sometimes reading a little slower will help me be more accurate. If I read a word wrong, I’ll reread it correctly right away. I will also pat attention to the end marks in the story so I know when to pause.

Remember you often learn about a character by looking at the pictures and paying attention to what the character does. You can also get clues about what a character is like by reading what the character says or thinks.
