INTRODUCTORY STAGE During this time, the primary objective is for the mentor and mentee to get to know each other and begin establishing a sense of trust. 2. RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING STAGE The primary objective during this time is to solidify a sense of trust and closeness between the mentor and mentee. 6. TERMINATION The final stage is when the relationship ends. Either the mentor or mentee may initiate the termination, or life circumstance may lead to it. In many cases, mentors and mentees have worked together for many years and continue to stay in touch. 4. MATURATION STAGE At this stage, the mentors know their mentee quite well. the mentor and mentee will be working on life goals which can be very productive at this stage. 3. GROWTH STAGE The objectives here is the mentor to encourage and support the mentee’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The mentor and mentee should be quite comfortable with each other by now, and you should have the opportunity to guide him or her in developing problem-solving skills. 5. TRANSITION STAGE Transitions happen for many reasons. The mentee may be getting more experienced with his business, and he is now capable to run his successful business
