Cheltenham Borough Council and Tewkesbury Borough Council are preparing a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) which will help to shape the future development of West Cheltenham. This follows on from the allocation of this land through the Gloucester, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Joint Core Strategy. The allocation comprises 45 hectares of employment land and around 1,100 new dwellings with the potential for further phases of development on the safeguarded land to the west.

The masterplan will set important principles including connections from existing neighbourhoods, the design of green spaces, new homes, employment spaces and community facilities. We are keen to hear your thoughts and ideas about the local area, and the key opportunities as we develop the masterplan.
