WBBSC has made every attempt to contact members via email, phone, and even the mailing of orange notification postcards. (is is a reason for members to keep their contact information up to date with WBBSC!) Each member's card is unique and is electronically registered to the member/holder. ese cards are not to be shared in any way. Apparently the sharing of the gate lock combination numbers and the access codes was widespread in the past. Non-members & other persons (who were not guests of club members) have been found on club property. Vandalism and the damage to club property became a weekly occurrence. As a result of these issues/concerns the WBBSC Board decided to install the new Gate Access System and Surveillance System across the club grounds. It was deemed necessary to protect WBBSC, its members, and our neighbors, now and for the future. WBBSC Gate Access Cards: Members will be issued only one Gate Access Card. When a member renews their WBBSC membership the card will continue to be valid/activated. If a member decides to not renew their membership, their Gate Ac- cess Card will be de-activated/removed from service. Please treat this card like a charge card in that should it be lost or stolen, please contact WBBSC immediately. We will electronically deactivate the card and make arrange- ments for you to obtain a new/replacement card. Gate Access Card Usage: At the gate keypad move your Gate Access Card near the reader/keypad until you hear a series of beeps. When you hear the beeps your card has been read & verified and the gate will open. If you do not hear the beeps your card may not have been read, so move it closer to the reader/keypad. When using ranges during off hours, please sign off on the clipboard in the stainless steel box, located near the Pistol Range. High Power Rifle Range A Range Safety Barrier is present to signal that shooters or grounds keeping & maintenance workers may be down range. Please raise this barrier when going down range, or leaving the range, so as to indicate an unsafe condition. Use them for everyone’s safety. In addition to the “Range Safety Barrier” rope, RED Warning lights and a switch have been installed in the covered high power rifle range. Please turn on the red lights when going down range when posting or removing targets. PLEASE make sure to turn off the red lights when leaving the range. First Aid Kit ere is a first aid kit located on a corner post of the pavilion by the Hi-Power & Rimfire Rifle Ranges. Please notify a WBBSC officer if you use any materials from this kit. As its supplies needs to be maintained Heads Up Everyone Please ensure that your contact information (e-mail and mailing address) is updated and current.
