Usage of the term eHealth varies and is often interchangeable with the term health informatics, but it is generally accepted eHealth refers to ‘healthcare practice supported by information and communication technologies’. In Wales we have a rich mix of academic institutions, industry and government already developing innovative eHealth solutions for the health challenges that lie ahead.
