Wellbeing Conference 2013
Employee wellbeing is an increasinglyrelevant and necessary consideration inthe modern workplace. Businesses areunder pressure to increase productivity,improve efficiency and effectiveness,and reduce costs. There is extensiveevidence showing that people withhigher levels of wellbeing performbetter. From productivity & profitabilityto resilience, engagement and effort,higher levels of wellbeing consistentlypredict higher levels of performance.
Now in its fourth successful year, the Allianz Healthand Wellbeing Conference in partnership with SurreyChambers of Commerce will bring together experts inthe field of health and wellbeing to share theirknowledge, experience and expertise.
Working days lost 27 million days were lost overall(17 days per case). 22.7 million due towork-related ill health and 4.3 milliondue to workplace injury.
Economic costs to BritainWorkplace injuries and ill health(excluding cancer) cost society anestimated £13.4 billion in 2010/11.

DirectionsFrom A3 Southbound:• Come off at Junction - Burpham/Merrow• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit - A3100
(London Road) towards Guildford• Continue over 4 roundabouts. (about 2

taking the filter to the A322 Woodbridge Road• Past the Shell Garage and over the roundabout• Carry on past the Cricket ground on the right
hand side• When the bus lane has ended, move into the left
hand lane.• At the round about take the 1st exit left for the A246.• At the traffic lights carry straight on to the next
set of lights• At these lights there is a hotel opposite to the left
