“I was taught Rheology by Prof.Basargekar of MIT Institute and I would give him complete creditto make me choose to work on this subject. I could not think of any bigger contribution. Mystrong foundation laid at MIT has helped me achieve numerous National & Internationalrecognitions of repute during my professional progression such as the Shanti Swarup BhatnagarAward, ‘Young Scientist Award-by NASI’ amongst others.”

Dr. Yogesh Joshi, ProfessorChemical Engg. Dept., IIT Kanpur

The credit for this institutions journey goes to the visionary Dr. Prof. Vishwanath Karad sir & ofcourse all our honorable teachers / professors, especially the great Late. Shri. M. V. Joshi sir.Frankly, I feel without him Polymer engineering would not have been in place & flourished likethis . I personally feel very proud to be a part of this unique, innovative & progressing institution.

Mr. Amit Pendase, MD,Electronica Plastics Machines, Pune

In the last 34 years MIT has produced some brilliant engineers, leaders and more importantlyhighly motivated human beings. It has shaped students from all over India and from allsegments of our social system who are doing far better than many other schools in India. I havebeen recruiting Polymer engineers since 2011 when I returned to India and I can proudly statethat engineers from MIT are more employable than their peer institutes simply because they arethriving to excel. I wish MIT-WPU to continue their journey successfully

Dr. Sachin Jain, Director,SKYi Composites, Pune

“A ship without a good sailor is nothing but a piece of wood. And MIT has helped me as a oneto vogue theses rough waters of life and educational path I earned valued skills. I would like tothank the college for having a well constructed course and my faculty for getting me throughthe courses and projects and always being supportive

Miss. Surbhi Singh, Reliance PolymersBatch: 2019

MIT Polymer.....well its quite difficult to express your feelings for something that close to yourheart, it's like a home-ground, you know, you will never lose at. Efforts taken by faculty at Poly.Dept. for improving the infrastructure has slowly started paying off. One thing is for-sure,every-time I listen to Dr. Vishwanath Karad mentioning MIT graduates as ambassadors of MIT,not just makes me feel more proud but on the other-hand generates a sense of responsibility, which I believe is a great achievement by an educational institute, after-all molding one'scharacter is the basic requirement of education.

Mr. Indraneel Zope, Ph.D. student at NTU Singapore, Batch: 2007

It is my pleasure to most highly recommend Polymer Engineering from MIT to anyone seekinga Professional career Polymer industry. As the new generation is more interested in thecomputer world, I strongly believe MIT polymer engineers have the specialize scope in thecomputer world as molding simulation engineers, mold designers, and plastic product design& development.

Having won accolades nationally, evident from our NIRF and TIMES Rankings, we arestriving hard to be recognized at the international level as well. In this endeavor,‘Industry-Readiness at The Global Level” and “Research & Innovation” are our key focusareas.

There is a huge demand for an industry-ready manpower that is conversant with thelatest technologies adopted by the industry. Therefore, it is necessary, as academicians, that we contribute to the growth of our nation by grooming professionals, who areconversant with the current advances and practices in the industry.

Building a strong industry-academia connect is a priority for me. My team of facultymembers is continuously revising the engineering curriculum in consultation with thetop industry experts. Keeping the latest technological advancements in mind, we areintroducing the following important courses in our B. Tech curriculum for the benefit ofall students enrolled in engineering, irrespective of their chosen branch in engineering:Python Programing, Basic IoT Laboratory, Data Science for Engineers, ArtificialIntelligence and Machine Learning, and Probability and Statistics.

To add to this significant change in our curriculum, the Faculty of Engineering andTechnology has done another path-breaking change in the structure of its engineeringeducation with the introduction of a Minor in Computer Science for all engineeringstudents, with the exception of those already pursuing Computer Science or ComputerEngineering. This change has been made in view of the surge in demand forprofessionals with a background in Computer Engineering along with domainknowledge of other subjects in fields like Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Polymer, etc.

MIT-WPU, with its legacy of four decades of association with

industries/universities of repute around the world, encourages

its students to undertake an International Study Tour (IST).

This tour, featuring visits to the best of the universities in the

UK, Europe and Asia, will ensure that the students are

enriched with unmatched learning.

I would strongly urge all the students to opt for this program

which will help you evolve as a world citizen coming out from

MIT World Peace University.
