“I was taught Rheology by Prof.Basargekar of MIT Institute and I would give him complete credit tomake me choose to work on this subject. I could not think of any bigger contribution. My strongfoundation laid at MIT has helped me achieve numerous National & International recognitions ofrepute during my professional progression such as the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award, ‘YoungScientist Award-by NASI’ amongst others.”
Dr. Yogesh Joshi, ProfessorChemical Engg. Dept., IIT Kanpur
The credit for this institutions journey goes to the visionary Dr. Prof. Vishwanath Karad sir & of courseall our honorable teachers / professors, especially the great Late. Shri. M. V. Joshi sir. Frankly, I feelwithout him Polymer engineering would not have been in place & flourished like this . I personallyfeel very proud to be a part of this unique, innovative & progressing institution.
Mr. Amit Pendase, MD,Electronica Plastics Machines, Pune
In the last 34 years MIT has produced some brilliant engineers, leaders and more importantly highlymotivated human beings. It has shaped students from all over India and from all segments of oursocial system who are doing far better than many other schools in India. I have been recruitingPolymer engineers since 2011 when I returned to India and I can proudly state that engineers fromMIT are more employable than their peer institutes simply because they are thriving to excel. I wishMIT-WPU to continue their journey successfully

Having won accolades nationally, evident from our NIRF and TIMES Rankings, weare striving hard to be recognized at the international level as well. In thisendeavor, ‘Industry-Readiness at The Global Level” and “Research & Innovation”are our key focus areas.
There is a huge demand for an industry-ready manpower that is conversant withthe latest technologies adopted by the industry. Therefore, it is necessary, asacademicians, that we contribute to the growth of our nation by groomingprofessionals, who are conversant with the current advances and practices in theindustry.
Building a strong industry-academia connect is a priority for me. My team offaculty members is continuously revising the engineering curriculum inconsultation with the top industry experts. Keeping the latest technologicaladvancements in mind, we are introducing the following important courses in ourB. Tech curriculum for the benefit of all students enrolled in engineering, irrespective of their chosen branch in engineering: Python Programing, Basic IoTLaboratory, Data Science for Engineers, Artificial Intelligence and MachineLearning, and Probability and Statistics.
To add to this significant change in our curriculum, the Faculty of Engineering andTechnology has done another path-breaking change in the structure of itsengineering education with the introduction of a Minor in Computer Science for allengineering students, with the exception of those already pursuing ComputerScience or Computer Engineering. This change has been made in view of the surgein demand for professionals with a background in Computer Engineering alongwith domain knowledge of other subjects in fields like Civil, Chemical, Mechanical,Polymer, etc.

MIT-WPU, with its legacy of four decades of association with
industries/universities of repute around the world, encourages
its students to undertake an International Study Tour (IST). This
tour, featuring visits to the best of the universities in the UK,
Europe and Asia, will ensure that the students are enriched with
unmatched learning.
I would strongly urge all the students to opt for this program
which will help you evolve as a world citizen coming out from
MIT World Peace University.
