For the past 20 years Mécaniques Modernes & Classiques (MMC) has been one of the leading dealers for prestigious modern and classic cars in France including vintage racing cars.

Michel Mhitarian, founder of MMC, has been managing his successful business thanks to an extensive global network.

He has also been regularly involved in various motor racing events, including many organised by SRO. His full career record includes :

A collaboration between Stéphane Ratel and Michel Mhitarian, the SRO Race Centre by MMC is a natural continuation of both their professional activities, combining an innovative concept with exclusive services.

Situated in the heart of the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, the SRO Race Centre by MMC enjoys a unique, privileged environment.

THE TEAM

Olivier Lyonnet, Managing Director, has always been passionate about cars and motor racing. His motor racing activities started in 1991, exporting exotic and classic cars from beautiful California. In 1992, he joined Venturi Competition, where he was involved in the setup of the Gentlemen Drivers Trophy and the Venturi GT programme (BPR and Le Mans). 1996 saw the birth of the successful Lamborghini Supertrophy, managed by Olivier within SRO for six action-packed seasons, racing at worldwide venues including Laguna Seca, Melbourne, Kyalamy and Zhuhaï.

Olivier was then involved in other SRO activities such as the FIA GT and the FFSA French GT Championships and the GT90’s Revival taking care of several technical aspects as well as team coordination.

He then decided to look for a new challenge in a very different environment and spent more than 10 years working in Electronic Consumer Products and Broadband IPTV for French operator Bouygues Telecom, before being seduced by the promising opportunities offered by the SRO Race Centre by MMC.

Benefitting from his broad experience with Ferrari and Maserati race cars through JMB Racing over 20 years, Chief Mechanic Jean-Jacques Grondin will provide his expertise on cars such as the F360, F575 and in particular the Ferrari 333SP and the Maserati MC12.

On top of his previous experience with Sonauto in 1994, Jean-Jacques has a strong technical background on many makes including Nissan and Porsche as well as on components such as Hewland or Xtrac.

The SRO Race Centre by MMC is glad to offer Blancpain GT Teams access to the Mistral Hall for regular technical maintenance, while on the way to race meetings or prior and after Blancpain events in Paul Ricard.

The SRO Race Centre also offers access to an office with printer, telephone and Wifi, as well as a comfortable lounge area with bar. Catering for lunch is accessible upon reservation at the Panoramic Restaurant every day, and a reception Hall of 520 sqm is available for reception and private events.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

STORAGE SERVICES

Storage is based on a three-month lease, payment for which is due on the first day of each trimester.

This service excludes any costs associated to the vehicle delivery, transportation to and from the premises, tyres, fuel, expenditures, parts, extra labour and extra repair in relation to the track use.

The SRO RACE CENTRE BY MMC insurance policy includes coverage for a total loss of up to €610,000 per car. The SRO RACE CENTRE BY MMC is insured by IARD AXA France through GROUPE SATEC, 24 Rue Cambacérès, F-75413 Paris Cedex 08.

Extra coverage is available upon request.

TRACK SESSIONS

Damages occurring to the racetrack are not included.

Damages to the vehicles are not covered during track use.

Personal insurance coverage for drivers is not included.

Mechanical services do not include extra repairs, labour, consumables, fuel and tyres.
