About the Teacher
I am a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Development, and Reading Specialist certification.
I am not a native Pennsylvanian like my mother and grandmother; however, I have lived in the Harrisburg area for 23 years. I currently live in a beautiful but smelly area in Millersburg on four acres adjacent to an Amish Dairy and a quarter of a mile from a chicken farm. Before moving to Pennsylvania, I was a Navy wife for a short time after having grown up an Army brat.
I have been married to my best friend for 34 years, and I have three grown children, seven grandchildren and another on the way , and two stubborn but adorable long-haired, black and tan mini-dachshunds. Truly, I am a blessed person!
