– Begin silent reading in your creepy classic

Adjectives • Words that describe nouns
• Adjectives make your sentences more informative, exciting and fun!
• Adjectives tell:– What kind
• Red blood, mean monster – Which one
• That vampire, those people – How many
• Many murders, few clues in the case
Types of adjectives
• Positive: is the adjective – Mean, ugly
• Comparative: an adjective + er (more) – Meaner, uglier
• Superlative: an ajective + est (the most) – Meaniest, ugliest
