Operation Christmas Child. Every year millions of gift filled shoeboxes are sent all over the world to children in need. These boxes let children in extreme circumstances feel the love of Jesus and the families that are praying for them as the boxes are being packed. Along with your gifts, booklets are included that tell the message of Jesus with the hope that these children will come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. If you need a bit of inspiration you can “Like" Operation Christmas Child on Facebook. They'll share ideas of items to put in your boxes and heartwarming stories about children who pack the shoeboxes as well as the children that receive them. Soon you can be part of this miracle in a shoebox. Shoeboxes and information on packing will be available beginning Sunday, October 15. Filled shoeboxes must be returned by Sunday, November 12. Questions?? Call Sherry Bouley at 703-451-2844 or e-mail [email protected].
