* Game preference will be given to umpires who attend training or are involved in a senior training umpiring group. Sign the attendance sheet every session (Very Important)

* When you nominate as available, you are informing the appointment co-ordinator you can get to all grounds in the SMJFL (usually 5-20 minutes driving). If appointed a long way from home we usually try to have you close to home the following week.

* Set availability/unavailability in Schedula each Sunday night by 9pm for the upcoming round

If you play football, set Schedula availability according to when you play. Consider this, all junior games last at least 2hrs. Your football team want you there an 1hr before you play and once game finishes you really need an 1hr recovery before your match. Therefore if I was playing at 11am, I would set Schedula to be available from 2pm. This will guarantee you can get to your game

* Umpires must be at their game 30 mins before it starts

*When updating Schedula, ensure contact details and emails are current. If you play football make changes in Schedula to let us know for which team and what age group/division. If you don’t play let us know this as well

• All boundary umpires will be able to request games they wish to do with a partner of their choice. All requests must be completed along with Schedula availability by Sunday 9pm. If not completed in time the request will not be

given.

• There are no game requests for any field umpires
