Weight Reduction Script

We have two weight loss sessions for you the first is a four session weight loss session.Session one is a full session including pretalk and complete induction (make sure client isas deep as possible). The rest of the sessions must cover what’s going well for your clientand what’s not going so well and then a hypnosis session, the more times you hypnotise aclient the deeper they will go and the quicker it will be to get them there.

The thing to be aware of with a four session program, you often lose people and don’tsee them for sessions three and four. To get over this you can take the money for allsessions up front so you have their commitment. But the best thing to do is cover this factin the pretalk and explain that people often don’t complete the sessions. Another way toensure your clients attend all sessions is to make sure that at session one you get it right.

The second is a one session weight lose session. There is not one better than the other andit comes down to personal preference which one you use. The disadvantage with a onesession weight lose programme is that you don’t know if it has been successful or not.

The pretalk below is for use with either session, the difference between a pretalk forweight lose and a pretalk for stop smoking is that for weight lose is a lot more personal.You need to find out from the client about them, what they have tried in the past andwhat their routine is at the moment. So the pretalk for weight lose is not ascomprehensive as the pretalk for stop smoking is, you will need to make the pretalkindividual for each client depending on the answers you get.

Beware with weight lose, occasionally you will get a client in who doesn’t need to loseweight. With these clients the first thing to ask them is why are they there, if they saythey need to lose weight and you can see they are already under weight DO NOT do asession with them, but be careful how you let them down, Say to them that they arebeautiful already and that they do not need your help.

If they answer the question above, I want to be fitter, or they want to eat more healthilythen that’s fine, carry on with your session and emphasize the exercise and fitness partsof the scripts.

With weight lose, if you are ever in doubt DO NOT DO THE SESSION.

Did you know that there is three different types of eater:-

Emotional eatersEmotional eaters are people who eat food because of emotions such as stress, worry,loneliness, boredom, frustration, companionship, reward, punishment or for any otheremotion that is manifested in eating foods.

Conditioned eatersA conditioned eater is a person who eats foods because of early childhood conditioning,such as the child that was made to feel guilty if they left anything over on their platebecause people were starving in other countries. Or that child who was motivated to eateverything on their plate in order to get the dessert. Conditioned eaters are in the millions.

Subconscious eatersA subconscious eater is a person who is unaware of all the food that they are putting intotheir mouths. Watching a movie and eating a whole bag of popcorn or a litre of icecream. The person who is continuously snacking at work at the sweet basket on the tableor desk and is not aware of how much they are eating throughout the day. A subconsciouseater is an automatic eater and is not aware of their over eating habit.

Hypnosis is a great tool to help you get fitter, improve your eating patterns and help youlose the weight that you want to lose. We can help you with the programming in theunconscious part of your mind but you have got to take responsibility for your conscious.

It will help you if I show you how our minds are made up :-(Show mind model)

The mind is split up into two parts, you’ve got the conscious and the unconscious parts ofthe mind.The conscious part of the mind is very logical and very rational, it’s the part that you aremaking your decisions with on a day to day basis. It’s the part where your willpower isheld, but of course, you have got to remember to use it. Willpower is something you havegot to learn to use and not let it side track you.

Now this part of the mind can think of several things at one time, but it can onlyconcentrate on doing one task at a time. It’s a very slow part of the mind. And this is howwe get stressed out, we try to do to many things at the same time and the conscious partof our mind can’t do it. You know what happens, the phone rings, the children want yourattention and your trying to cook the evening meal and your stressed out as you try to doall three things at once. Take a step back, realize what is happening and do one task at atime. Doing one task doesn’t get us stressed, trying to do two tasks starts the ball rolling.It’s like a snow ball rolling down a hill, the more tasks you try to do at once the more thestress builds up and once you get stressed out your now not able to do any of the tasksyou are trying to do. Stop, take a step back in your mind and realize what is happeningand why you are stressed and do something about it by doing one task at a time.It’s the bit that we would like to think that’s in control !But its not.It’s the unconscious part of the mind that’s in control. For example you don’t think aboutbreathing, blood circulation, making your heart beat, the unconscious is the auto pilot forthe body, it’s running the body 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is the unconsciousthat tells you when you are hungry, it tells you how you feel.This part of the mind can do many things at a time and whilst it is running the body it isalso taking in two million pieces of information every second, passing on what it thinks isimportant and disregarding the rest.For example, you buy a new car and your driving down the road in your new car and nowit seems like every other car is the same as yours, they even seem to be the same colour.Now did everyone go and buy a new car the same time as you, no, of course not, it’s justthe day before the unconscious noticed all these cars, but did not pass the information on,because it didn’t think it was important. But now you’ve got this new car, so it’s got to beimportant, now it passes the information on every time it sees one.Also in the unconscious holds your memories, you’ve got memories stored in yourunconscious going all the way back to childhood, but you can’t consciously always recallthem, but a song might come on the radio and all of a sudden you can remember who youwas with, what you was doing, even what you was wearing. It’s like when someone asksyou a question and you know you know the answer but you can’t recall it, what do yousay “its on the tip of my tongue” and you scramble back in your mind trying to find theanswer, but you can’t get it, but what happens five minutes later the answer pops intoyour mind, when its to late.Also in the unconscious is your emotions. For example, you don’t think, I’ve been in agood mood for the last seven days, I’m going to wake up in a bad mood to morrow. Allyour emotions are controlled by the unconscious.Now also in the unconscious is your imagination, now the imagination is very powerful.For example, you’ve probably had dreams or nightmares before and you’ve woken upshaking, sweating and your heart pounding, yet you haven’t been any where, you’re stillin bed. Well this is because the unconscious part of the mind does not know thedifference between something real or imagined, so if your having this dream of runningdown the road or of being scared, as far as the unconscious is concerned it’s actuallyhappening, therefore it makes physical changes to the body to make these images becometrue, hence you wake up shaking, sweating and your heart pounding.

Now we are going to use the imagination today, because if you imagine that it is going tobe easy to get to your goal weight, then you’re right, but if you imagine its going to bedifficult you are also right. You see if you imagine its going to be easy your unconsciouswill start the ball rolling and make it easy for you. You need to stay positive and thenyour unconscious will stay positive and automatically make the changes necessary toachieve your goals.The unconscious is where all our habits are stored.Because all a habit is, is something you do consciously a number of times and then theunconscious will take it on as a habit. The unconscious part of the mind knows that youcan only consciously concentrate on doing one task at a time, so the more jobs theunconscious can do on your behalf, the better .Our life’s are full of habits most of them we are not even aware of. Driving is habit,when you first started to drive you drove consciously, you had to think about mirror,signal, brakes, clutch and what’s going on around you. But you passed your test andpracticed and now you don’t even think about driving. Your driving down the road andsomeone pulls out in front of you and you just stop, you don’t even have to think aboutdriving. Your life is full of habits. Swimming is a habit, riding a bike, reading, walking,the way you brush your teeth in the morning. Our life’s are full of habits because all ahabit is, is something you do consciously a number of times that is then taken on by theunconscious as a habit. The problem is the unconscious doesn’t know the differencebetween a good habit or a bad habit.Now at the moment the unconscious is protecting these habits, it doesn’t want you toforget to drive as you drive down the road, it doesn’t want to forget to swim whilstswimming across a river.Now, this is were hypnosis comes in, theirs no magic trick or waving of a magic wandwith hypnosis, it’s just a way of getting you to relax and because your relaxed we can talkdirectly to the unconscious, the part that’s in control. Because were talking to theunconscious we can re-record an up to date memory and remove all your bad habits thathave got you to where you are today and we can replace them with the new habitsrequired to achieve want you want in life.Also the primary function of the unconscious is to protect you, we know this because ifyou step out onto the road and theirs a car coming, you will jump back, without eventhinking about it you’ll get out of the way. The unconscious is there to protect you. Sowith your new health habits the unconscious will back them up to protect you.

What do you know about hypnosis ?Well, I can’t make you do any thing that you don’t want to do. This surprises somepeople because they see these hypnosis shows on the TV and it does make it look likethey are making people do what they don’t want to. But think about it, why do people goto see these shows, to be entertained, to see people act stupid. So then they call forvolunteers, now who’s going to volunteer. So they have all these people on stage andthey start doing tests with them, now the people in the audience might be thinking thathe’s looking for people that are hypnotizable, no he’s not, because he knows that anyoneis hypnotizable, he’s looking for the biggest show offs, the ones that want to be the centerof attention, the biggest exhibitionists. Now he’s got it made, he’s not making them dosomething they don’t want to do, he’s making them do what they do want to do. And

that’s great because that’s exactly what we are doing, I’m helping you do something youall ready want to do.Hypnosis is a great way for getting you to do what you all ready want to do.When your in the chair you will not fall a sleep, your be aware of everything. Your hearthe sounds outside the room, the sounds from in the room, your remember everything.Your still have thoughts running through your mind, one of those thoughts might be “Am I hypnotized” well the answer to that is yes because all hypnosis is, is being relaxedand because your relaxed we are talking directly to the unconscious part of your mind.The best way to describe hypnosis, it feels like first thing in the morning, you have justwoken up but you haven’t opened your eyes yet, you know you can open your eyes if youwant to, but you don’t want to because your relaxed.You are going in and out of hypnosis all day long with out even realizing it. The mostcommon form of hypnosis is driving, your driving down the road on a trip you’ve done100 times before and you start to day dream or think about something else, next thing youno you get to your destination and you have know idea how you got there. That’shypnosis, your conscious mind has wondered off and your unconscious has driven yousafely to your destination.Also reading a book or watching the TV, your at home and your watching TV and yourhanging off of every word that’s happening and someone asks you a question and youdon’t hear them or you don’t want to hear them.So we can’t make you do anything you don’t want to and you are aware of everythingthat is going on. Hypnosis is a powerful way for you to achieve everything you want.

Now there is four ways to respond to hypnosis suggestion. The first way is I LIKE or IWANT, so if I make a suggestion like “you now have motivation to exercise” and youthink , “yes I do” that suggestion will work and it will work every time.Another way to respond is to be uncomfortable with the suggestion, for example if I say“you now eat more healthily” and you think “know I don’t” that suggestion will berejected.Also if your unmotivated, I some times get people who have been sent in by theirhusbands, wives, doctors and like I said I can’t make someone do what they don’t want todo, so again the suggestion is rejected.The fourth way to respond is to hope, now there is a problem with the word hope, it is thetwin sister of the word try, if I try to pick up this pen, I don’t do it because I’m just trying,if I want to pick it up I will.The unconscious is to busy doing 101 other things, if your uncomfortable, unmotivated orjust hoping, it hasn’t got time to listen and will just reject any suggestions, if you like thesuggestion and want it to work not only will it be accepted but it will be actioned.

Hypnosis is like a contract between two people, my part of the contract is to give you allthe thoughts and therapies that I know is going to help you achieve your goal weight.Your part of the contract is to follow along with the suggestions, want them to work andexpect them to work. Now I know I’m going to keep up my part of the contract, are yougoing to keep up yours.

Four session Weight loss program

This script may be recorded for a clients use at night. It may be very helpful to have thesubject engage in visualization as well. Should definitely be used with each session, getclient to repeat sentences back to you.

I desire to become strong and slender.

I am dissatisfied with my weight as it now stands.

I want to become more slender. Because I want to become more slender, my appetite isnow easily satisfied with a much smaller quantity of food that I have become accustomedto eating,

I know that my body needs protein for strength, so I enjoy eating a small quantity of leanmeat.

I enjoy a single slice of dark, coarse bread.

I enjoy eating green, leafy vegetables.

I enjoy eating all the body building foods which give me strength and a proper balance ofminerals and vitamins.

My body already has in storage an abundance of fat.

My body has no need for additional fat.

My body is now ready to use this fat that I have stored up.

As this fat is used, I feel the way I want to feel; strong, energetic and vigorous.

Because my body has no need for fat now, I have no appetite for fats, sweets andstarches.

I dislike the fat in meat, I have no desire for butter or cream.

I dislike ice cream, I dislike candy and pie, I have no desire for cake.

I do not like potatoes or white bread.

My dislike for these foods is becoming so great that soon it is impossible for me to eatthem.

My body has no need for these foods right now.

My tastes correspond to the real needs of my body.

Food substances that are not needed are actually unpleasant to me.

I am now finding a new pleasure in eating the foods that my body needs.

I eat slowly.

I take small bites,

I relish each bite as I chew it.

I am now taking time to actually taste the flavour of the foods that I eat.

I am rediscovering the subtle and enjoyable differences between foods.

I enjoy the taste of the lean meat, and a very small quantity makes me feel full andsatisfied.

I enjoy the taste of the leafy vegetables.

I enjoy the taste of cheese.

I enjoy the taste of skim milk which brings so many valuable minerals.

I enjoy the taste of fresh fruits.

I enjoy the taste of green vegetables.

I enjoy all of these so much, that a very small quantity of them makes me feel as thoughI've eaten a Thanksgiving dinner.

I am completely satisfied with the quantity of food that contains about (specific count)calories.

I now weight (Specify current weight) pounds.

I wish to weight (Desired ending weight) because at that weight I will feel very muchbetter and be much more attractive.

I am going to consume the excess fat from my body at a rate of (Specific lb. value 2 - 5)pounds per week.

In ten weeks I am going to weight (10 weeks times lb. per week) pound s less.

In ten weeks I am going to weight (Starting weight - 10 week loss) pounds.

I do this because I want to feel stronger and more vigorous.

I do this because I want to be healthy.

I do this because I want to be well.

I desire to be strong, vigorous and healthy. That desire is so great that it easily andunconsciously controls my appetite; and I automatically eat only the foods that my bodyneeds in the quantities that my body requires.

Once the weight loss has started, the following suggestions can be added to the script.

I am now eating the foods that my body needs.

I am eating only the food that my body needs.

I am eating only 1000 calories a day, and I am enjoying every single bite that I take.

In my daily activities I am consuming the reserves of fat that have been stored in mybody.

This fat is being consumed from my entire body, but it is coming especially from myabdomen and my hips.

My hips are becoming smaller as the fat is consumed.

My stomach is becoming flatter as the fat is consumed.

Already I am feeling stronger and more healthier.

Already, I am looking much more attractive.

My hips are becoming smaller.

My stomach is becoming flatter.

Soon my figure will be more suited to my height and my bone structure.

Weight Reduction Session I

You have begun a positive approach to obtain the slim, healthy, attractive body whichyou desire. I am going to give you some suggestions that will make this a permanentchange in your living. These suggestions are going to take complete and thorough effectupon the deepest part of your subconscious mind, sealing themselves in the deepest partof your subconscious mind, so they will remain there forever, and become a permanentpart of every cell of your brain and body. You are going to be surprised and amazed justhow effective these suggestions are going to be and how much they will become a part ofyour everyday life, giving you a brand new pattern, brand new thoughts, a brand newmethod of action, to make you an effective and successful person.

You will make use of a brand new method that you have never used before. You havebegun the first positive approach for obtaining a healthy, attractive body which youdesire. You have chosen hypnosis as a positive means to attain this goal, becausehypnosis is a great aid in permanently changing your emotional reactions to food andeating. You realize that hypnosis is a new positive approach -- a new positive approach toobtain what you desire.

For the first time in your life you will really initiate a good positive approach toward foodand eating. As you initiate this good, positive attitude toward food, enjoy food, like food,eat food. You will create a permanent positive change in your eating habits. From nowon, you will prove to your own satisfaction that eating all you physiologically need willentirely satisfy you; just like drinking all the water you need. Instead of trying to kill yourappetite, treating it as an enemy, you are going to work within the framework of yourinborn normal reflexes, making a friend of your appetite, paying attention to it; for this isa good thing. Slim people have appetites. They pay attention to them. Attractive peoplehave appetites. They pay attention to them. Hypnosis makes a friend of your appetite,rather than an enemy.

In the past, you've been paying attention only to half the signal from your appetite.Namely, the signal that says, "Eat. I'm hungry." But now you are making a friend of yourappetite. You listen to all of what your friend's advice is. When it says "I'm hungry," youeat. When the hunger feeling first disappears, and your appetite says, "I'm satisfied," youstop. You stop long before you're full, because once you have this full sensation, it meansthat you have grossly overeaten. You should never want to feel full again.

You see you haven't really been paying attention to your appetite at all because youreating has been driven by emotions rather than hunger. It is always proper to eat whenyour appetite says,” I’m hungry." But you've been eating when you've not been hungry.You've been eating out of habit when your body had no physiological need for food.You've been eating to satisfy psychological, emotional cravings. You haven't paidattention to your appetite when it says "I'm done. I'm satisfied. Stop eating." You haven'tpaid attention to it either. Your appetite doesn't need killing off. On the contrary, it needsreinforcing. Hypnosis helps you make a friend of your appetite. Pay attention to the

advice of your new friend. Tune in on your body sensations. If you eat too much againstthe advice of your new friend, you'll violate your normal reflexes.

It's important that you should eat all you physiologically need to replace your energystores for immediate use and to store your body's sugar. You must immediately ban anyand all plans that you have for dieting. You will do so. Otherwise, you bring into play anold instinct for self-preservation. This can spoil all of the positive results that you wish togain from hypnosis. It is important that you develop the habit now; that you're alwaysgoing to eat all that you need. Under hypnosis, you can reinforce the normal feedbackmechanisms, the checks and balances that tell you when you need food and when yourappetite is satisfied.

However strong this hypnosis may be, it cannot overcome basic instincts for survival. Amost strong instinct is self-preservation. Surprisingly, your great concern about beingoverweight leads to sporadic dieting. This in turn suggests starvation. Starvation, in turn,demands defence. It brings out the instinct of self-survival. This instinct is responsible formaintaining your excess weight. Slim people eat all they want.

Slim people do well. Slim, attractive people say, "I eat all I want and I don't gain anounce."

Visualize yourself as this slim, attractive person; the slim, healthy, attractive person thatyou soon will be. You soon will be saying the very same thing. As you begin to talk andact like a slim, healthy, attractive person, you will soon become one. Overweight isprimarily not a dietary problem, but an emotional problem. You must resolve right nowto give up dieting forever. You will form a habit pattern to eat all you need when yourbody needs it. Paying attention to your appetite, trusting your own reflexes, reinforcingthe sensation, reflexes and feed-back patterns. This is true even though you may lose veryslowly at first. The excess fat will be burned away in due time. You are going to be slim,healthy, and attractive. You will feel wonderful in every way. The word diet and dietingwill be removed from your mind and all the plans you may have had for dieting will beremoved from your mind thoroughly. Dieting makes you think of growing hungry andgiving up food, which in turn starts the anxiety about starvation which brings forth theinstinct of self-preservation. So you are through with dieting; through with dietingforever.

Through hypnosis you will restore normal reflexes that will keep you satisfied and bringinto play that wonderful feeling of well-being. The word diet is a negative word; itthreatens you with denial of food and death. Hypnosis is a positive word; it makes yourelax, comfortable and alive. Diets fail; hypnosis succeeds. Diet brings about starvationwhich leads to overeating and obesity. Hypnosis brings about satisfaction which leads torelaxation and brings about a slim, healthy, attractive body, a relaxed mind and a satiatedspirit. The old urge to diet is now completely removed from your mind for now yourealize that the real answer is in restoring normal reflexes. You will concentrate on it,obeying every suggestion I give you, for hypnosis is a positive approach.

Hypnotic suggestions which you receive will rapidly bring about a change which isnecessary to insure a permanently slim, healthy, attractive body, which you so desire.

Each time you are tempted to eat or drink anything that you know is wrong for you, youwill say "no" and stick by it, because the rewards of becoming slimmer are moreimportant to you than eating the wrong foods.

The rewards of being slender, more desirable, sexier, are more important to you thaneating foods that you know are wrong for you.

Weight Reduction Session II

As you go deeper and deeper into relaxation, even deeper and deeper down with everybreath you exhale, all the sounds fade away in the distance. You will pay attention only tothe sound of my voice, listening carefully to the suggestions that I am about to give you.One thing is very important for you: you are not only going to lose weight, but arepermanently going to keep it off. This program is designed so that you will permanentlylose all your fat, and become a lean, alert and vigorous person. You will lose all yourextra weight and keep it off, easily and comfortably. That means that you are going to becompletely reconditioned. You will be a new person, in a new lean form, with new eatinghabits. Not only will you have these new eating habits, but you will be content and happywith yourself and with these new heating habits. You are going to enjoy life, eating theway nature intended, eating only when you have physiological needs for food and noother time; not only now, but for the rest of your life.

In the past, you were eating more than your body needed for its energy requirements, sothat you stored this extra energy as inert fat. Now in order to lose weight and reduce thisinert fat, you burn it up as you meet your daily requirements for energy. You eat less thanyou burn each day. Later, when you are lean, you will eat only that amount that you needfor your physiological needs each day. But for right now, you are developing habits to eatless than you're using. We are not giving you a measured diet, for that amount will varyfrom day to day and depend greatly on your activities. You will eat less than you need forthe storage will make up the difference. This restriction will cause you no trouble orinconvenience for the fat stores of inert fat will be burned and you will lose weight. Youare going to eat a great deal less than you used to eat in the past, but it will be enough tosatisfy you. You will eat less, and you will burn the extra fat. You will turn this inert fatinto energy. From now on, you are going to form an eating pattern; a pattern that will bealmost a compulsion.

Fat by its very nature contains an extremely big amount of stored energy. So, if you burna little of it each day, you will lose only a little weight each day. Nature designed the fatstores to last a long time so the weight loss must be gradual, but it needs to be consistent.It matters not how long it takes to regain lean proportions, for you will surely get thereand permanently stay there, as long as you permanently rearrange your thoughts abouteating and your emotions about food. The important thing is that you have changed yourhabits forever. A loss of one to four pounds a week is ideal. When your excess weight isoff, it is off for good. You're a new person, about to emerge from a cocoon padded withfat. Be happy with your new form. Emerge as a new person with thoroughly changedideas, thoroughly changed image of yourself.

Relax and let all of these suggestions sink into the deepest part of your mind's eye as animage. This image is of good and wonderful food. Food you like. There is plenty of it allaround you. There always will be plenty of it. For you, there will always be enough food.You will never have to worry about starving. For you there is plenty of food everywhere.With all this food readily available, you will never need to store any more food insideyour body. There is plenty of food. There is plenty of the right kinds of food, all the kindsand varieties that your body needs when it needs it. From now on you will eat only thevery things your body needs, one day at a time. You are through with storing pads androlls of fat. For you to store fat is just as unnecessary as for you to learn to shoe horses ormake soap for the family. Fat burdens your heart and organ system. Fat keeps youunhealthy. Fat ruins and shortens your life. There is plenty of food all around you. Younever again need to store food in your body that is more than you body needs.

There is in your central brain a small area which regulates the biochemistry of your bodyand it controls the amount of fat you store in your body. This control is located in thehypothalamic area of the brain. Your subconscious mind, through the hypothalamus,controls your weight by changing the body's chemistry. Hypnosis can influence yoursubconscious mind to alter the control of both your appetite and storage of food in theform of fat.

Now while under the influence of hypnosis, I am giving you the suggestion that you willchange your body's chemistry so that you can break up these large storage houses of fatand prevent the recurrence of any new and unneeded storages of fat, ugly fat. Fat that hasbeen putting an extra burden and overload on the body's machinery. Break up andeliminate forever the unneeded fat stores. Change fat to energy and burn it up. Also, getrid of it by excreting it. Get rid of it through the bowels. Get rid of it through the urine.Get rid of it in every way possible. It mobilizes quite readily and you can see the fatmelting away as you use it and excrete it. The globules of fat storage are leaving thenormal cells and being carried away. The fat is being burned up and excreted.

You will now use this stored fat to supply energy. This is extra energy to make you morevigorous. As you are eliminating the excess, you will eat far less than you need each dayfor the extra calories are coming from the food you ate yesterday and last year. You eatnothing to replace these stores. Nothing and no one can force you to eat so much that youreplace this ugly fat. For you will never need to store fat again. You don't want this fat toever be replaced. These stores are gone forever. They were burdensome and injurious toyou. You need to get rid of them, just as an overloaded ship needs to get rid of excesscargo. No longer will you need to eat more food for this storage. You will only eat smallamounts until you have used all of this stored energy and all those ugly store houses offat are gone. From this moment on, you are going to eat less, but move more and morelively and be more and more active, for you feel better than you have ever felt before.You lose the desire for all but a small amount of food until your weight has come downto a lean size you want. Then you will eat sensibly and correctly the rest of your life.

After you change your chemistry, you have changed your whole body and your wholefeeling to that of a wonderful sense of well-being. You will eat sensibly, get plenty ofexercise, drink adequate liquids to always make you feel healthy, lean, trim and desirable.

You are losing weight steadily every day. You are slim and shapely. The excess weight ismelting off you, just melting away and disappearing. You have a stronger feeling everyday that you are in complete control of your eating habits. You picture yourself the wayyou are going to be soon -- slim and shapely and sexy.

Now relax and let all these suggestions take complete and thorough effect upon you --mind, body, and spirit -- as your subconscious mind corrects your hypothalamus tochange your body's chemistry. Let the monitor of your subconscious mind influence thehypothalamus to make this favourable body change. Let your appetite control centre besafely reduced so that excess storage of fat will be utilized by excretion and burning ofstored energy. Eliminate all that extra harmful fat.

Weight Reduction Session III

Although sometimes we are quite fearful of change or something new, we are well awarethere is no chance for improvement unless there is change. If we have had difficulty insome area, we must change the old patterns. So today, I am suggesting that we dosomething entirely different from what we usually do. Something that may be quite newto you. Although it is likely that you have done it sometime in the past. Today I amproposing that you let yourself see yourself in perspective. See yourself as others mightsee you or as you might be seen in history.

When you are away from yourself, even for a few moments, you begin to see yourself inan entirely different light. Temporarily, if you separate yourself in time as well as inphysical distance, you can see yourself not only as you are at the moment, but as youwere yesterday or even far back in childhood. It is quite possible for you to see yourselfproceeding through all the stages of growing to the present time, and even projectingyour view of yourself into the future. You are capable of doing this. It is a safe procedure.It is possible because your subconscious mind calculates time and distance differentlyfrom the subconscious mind. In the conscious mind, everything is very concrete. Theminutes progress in orderly fashion to form hours and days, weeks and years. Thesubconscious mind works very differently. You live in the present, but if you aresuddenly, greatly stressed, you call forth experiences from the past. Your defences andreactions respond instead to the similar stresses of last year or five years ago.

In other words, in the subconscious mind, your frame of reference is entirely different.You can be in the present, but if something provokes or excites you, in a fraction of asecond you can revert to childish or infantile behaviour and relive an incident with all thesound, fury and emotion you had the first time you experienced it. In other words, in afraction of a second you can span the years and relive an incident as vividly as you didthe first time.

In exactly the same way, it is possible for you to see some of the future. See yourself asyou might be behaving a year or five years from now. Predicting the future is possiblebecause the attitudes you hold about yourself determine your behaviour, the friends youchoose and situations you create. Even though you may not be able to fill in the names ofother people or the precise location, you can predict the kind of situation you will placeyourself into because of the attitudes you hold about yourself. Time and place in thesubconscious mind is only relative. Your attitude and defences remain almostunchangeable and they interact with the environment in very much the same waythroughout you life.

You can quite easily project yourself temporarily outside of your body as if you were athird person and look back at yourself and your surroundings freed of the usual physicallimitations. It is very safe to project yourself in spirit out and beyond your normalphysical limitations so you can look back at yourself and understand exactly where youare. This projection is entirely at your under your control. You will find it quite easy toseparate much of your spirit and intellect from your body so that you can momentarily be

free from your body limitations. From this vantage point, you can see yourself inprospective from birth to present. You will become acutely aware of the program you hadto adopt to keep your physical body alive in a world that is so threatening. You will beable to understand the family's interactions with you as you have never before been ableto understand.

Best of all, from this detached, safe, vantage point, you can plainly see the defences thatyou needed when you were very small. You have now outgrown them just as you haveoutgrown the need for nursing bottles and diapers.

Projection experience is common to everyone who dreams, for dreams change all theusual limitations of time and space. A good example is awakening abruptly from a verysound sleep and being momentarily confused about where you are. You have had theexperience of looking in a three-way mirror in a clothing store and seeing yourself inprofile and back view and getting an entirely different perspective of yourself. Anotherway to get a projection of yourself is to look into a mirror that shows your reflection inanother mirror. Then, by changing the angle slightly, you can see one mirror reflecting inanother in a whole row of mirrors, almost on to eternity. Now to this picture, you addphotographs of yourself in the same pose, but each at a different age of your life. Youline them up so that you see yourself in these mirrors at all ages from infancy to thepresent time. Depending on the angle of the mirrors, you can see yourself projected eitherinto the past or into the future.

Now picture yourself intellectually outside your own body with a clear view of yourwhole life in perspective. You have in your possession all of the wisdom, all the learningand all the understanding that you have ever gained. In this position, you're now able toinfluence your own destiny by re-programming and upgrading your attitude and defences.You let yourself change wherever you see the need for growth and maturity so all yourreactions may come up to your expectations as you relinquish your hang-ups.

Hear yourself encouraging your whole being to accept yourself and approve of what youdo. Especially see yourself reinforcing the normal eating patterns, to eat only when youare hungry, to see that your appetite is easily satisfied. Picture yourself enjoying foodimmensely but only in quantities you need to fulfil normal physiological requirements.See yourself overcoming the temptation to eat any extra food. As you observe yourself itbecomes easier and easier to pass up unneeded food and drink. Especially note carefullyhow your need to seek approval from everyone else is disappearing very quickly andprogressively. More and more you are approving of what you do.

See yourself also using self-hypnosis as a very powerful and safe force for you. Itseffectiveness increases as you let part of yourself be projected beyond your usual bodylimitations so that you can give yourself suggestions much more effectively as if youwere a third person. Again and again you are accepting the suggestion that you eat onlywhen you truly need food and that you are satisfied with basic nutrition. See yourselfbeing increasingly happy with your eating pattern and showing approval of what you do.

Weight reduction session IV or Tape for self hypnosis

I’d like you to picture and imagine yourself somewhere you enjoy being. Perhaps you’rewalking down a sparkling white sand beach or maybe it’s a beautiful country lane or alovely mountain path. But wherever you happen to be. I want you to picture and imaginethat you’ve lost all the weight you wanted to lose. You’re now the size and shape youwant to be...will be...deserve to be. See and feel yourself striding briskly, freely, easily,naturally, energetically along, head held high with pride. You’re happy, healthy, slim andtrim. Looking really sharp in perhaps a bathing suit or a pair of shorts or trousers or jeans... something you know you look good in now that you’ve lost the weight. And right then,right there, right here, right now you know you’d never trade those marvelous feelingsback for the fattening foods. It’s just not worth it. Changing the desire for all the fatteningfoods into a tremendous desire for health and happiness ... a tremendous desire for a slim,trim, thin, fit more attractive, vital and energetic you. Finding now that the only foodsyou really need ... the only foods you really want. .are those foods you know are good foryou.

Picture and imagine yourself sitting down to a meal. Notice how you’re eating moreslowly, taking smaller bites, chewing your food more thoroughly, getting the last ounceof satisfaction, the most mileage out of each and every bite. Getting more fillingsatisfaction out of less food. Finding a full feeling in your stomach much, much soonerthan usual.

You’re finishing the meal now. Look, there’s still food left on your plate but you’restuffed and you’re full. Realizing it’s perfectly okay to leave food on your plate. You getmore filling satisfaction out of those foods that you do eat. Finding a new pleasure,finding a greater pleasure in eating the foods that your body needs in the amounts that itrequires. It’s so satisfying. Filling up ever so much faster you can’t even finish everythingon your plate. You’re stuffed and you’re full. Finding that’s more than enough food foryou until the next meal. You have no desire for any more than that.

Because you want to become slim and trim any desire you may have or might have everhad for (name the fattening foods) is now tremendously outweighed by an overwhelmingand continually growing commitment to health, happiness, slimness, trimness but, aboveall, a firm commitment towards attaining and maintaining your ideal weight. Thatcommitment is so strong and so powerful that it easily and unconsciously controls yourappetite. You automatically eat only the foods your body needs, only in the amounts itrequires. There’s absolutely no desire to eat any more than is needed to maintain yourhealth.

And as the pounds and inches fall away, you’re beginning to look and feel exactly theway you want to look and feel ... slim, trim, thin, fit,. More attractive to yourself andthose around you. Feeling more full of vim, vigor, energy and vitality. Discovering a newzest for living. Enjoying life ever so much more. Ever so much more.

One session Weight loss

You will now separate all emotions from food and when I count to three, your left handand arm will lift up into the air and as that hand and arm lifts all the way up into the air,you are separating all emotions from food. You are letting go of any and all emotionaleating no matter what, when and where it came from. You are also letting go of any andall negative unhealthy eating habits of the past no matter where they came from.

When I count to three, your left arm (or right or finger) lifts up and the higher the armlifts, the more confident and motivated you become to be healthy and to eat good healthyfoods with vitamins and nutrients for energy and the more you love to exercise on aregular basis because your mind and body is now more important to you than ever beforeand you want your mind to be sharp and clear and your body to be fit and healthy.

When I count to three your left hand and arm will lift into the air and as that hand andarm goes higher into the air you are letting go of all cravings, habits or false desire foreating foods with sugars, grease and fatty poisons and you see food for what it really is.That food that looks so good, is so bad for your body that it even blocks your arteries andadds pressure on your heart and body, but you will not be one of those people who diesfrom being over weight with too much weight pressing down heavily on their organs andwhen I count to three, your left hand will move all the way up into the air and you willsimply let go of all false cravings for eating poisonous foods – those fattening, unhealthy,unnecessary foods.

One ….that arm starts to lift….two….three….all the way up into the air. Now I want youto imagine how good it feels to eat healthy foods that taste great. Fruits, vegetables, smallamounts of a healthy main course with plenty of green vegetables – the enjoyment ofdrinking more fresh clear crisp water that tastes so naturally sweet and refreshing.

Now let your right hand and arm lift all the way up into the air. That right hand and armlifting up into the air right now represents your confidence and decision to now let all theexcess weight go, every day less and less and less until it’s all gone. Your body is theplace in which your mind worships – it is your temple or church and you want it to behealthy, fit and free of poisons. Let your right hand and arm now lift all the way up intothe air until that hand and fingers are pointing up towards the sky. The taste of healthfoods is now simply wonderful and now let your right hand and arm lift into the airgiving new healthy positive emotions to eat healthy foods and to have more energy toexercise or walk… that hand is also your new healthy confidence, motivation and desireto let all the useless and excess weight leave until its all gone, completely.

Your left hand and arm in the air is your old useless negative eating habits of the past andyou are no longer the person of the past and your right hand and arm in the air is yournew healthy attitude, confidence and trust in yourself and positive energy to enjoy eatinghealthy foods, thinking healthy thoughts, having confidence and motivation to exerciseand to let every useless ounce of fat go once and for all.

I want you to see yourself in your mind now exercising or walking with a big smile onyour face and having fun and enjoying exercising more and more each day. See yourselfat the shops now buying healthy foods, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and buying freshwater because you are now choosing to eat healthy good tasting foods which are low infats, sugars and grease.

I want you to see yourself in your mind sitting down at the table to eat a healthy meal andnotice that you have chosen to take smaller portions of food and you feel fine. You havechosen to eat good health vegetables and you enjoy eating fruits and smaller portions offood. You have chosen to drink a glass of fresh great tasting water and you feel fine. Youare now starting to eat your good healthy meal. You are taking your time to eat slowlyand enjoying the taste of good healthy foods for vitamins, minerals and nutrients andenergy and as you are chewing your food slowly, you know that you are giving healthyenergy to your body.

Now you take that drink of fresh water and it tastes great, natural and healthy. And as youcontinue to eat your good tasting healthy meal, you realize that you have had enough andyou simply stop eating because you have had enough to eat. Your not stuffed or full, youhave just had enough and as you look at your plate you even see that you have left somefood over on the plate and you feel fine. You feel nothing for that left over food, becauseyou have simply had enough to eat for now.

Every time that you now sit down to eat a meal, you will choose healthy foods to eat.You will choose smaller portions of food to eat and you will become fuller faster withsmaller portions of food.Think to yourself now silently after me,Every time I sit down to eat a meal, I will choose healthy foods to eat and healthy liquidsto drink.I will choose smaller portions of food.I love the taste of healthy food, vegetables and fresh fruit tastes great.As I eat my healthy meal, I will take my time to chew my food slowly enjoying the tasteof healthy foods.When I have had enough food for vitamins, nutrients, minerals and energy I will simplystop eating.I can now even leave food over on my plate when I have had enough.When I eat a meal, I will now become fuller faster with smaller portions of food and caneven leave food over on my plate when I have had enough to eat.
