5th Annual Meeting of the PHT
Strategic outcomes of the meeting• Formulate a strategy for the PHT, informed by the performance review
• Clarify where the PHT stops and other development activities and related networks continue
• Define membership of PHT
• Use 8 points of the Minimum Preparedness Package to guide national preparedness and develop regional preparedness plan
• Articulation and mapping of partnerships, capacity building, resource mobilization and coordination arrangements
• Strengthen PHT partnerships in the north Pacific
• Explore the VHT model for other locations

• Mapping of contingency stocks
• Information and Emergency Communication materials
• Who Does What Where mapping in the clusters and in the countries
• Clusters need to define 1 or 2 priority actions to complete before 01 Dec
• Participants need to input into the PHT performance review in the coming weeks
• Gender in DM network is formed to replicate communities of practice in PICs
• 10 males from PHT organisations to join the Gender in DM network

• Simulation exercises at National level
• Civil Military coordination activities
• Strengthen IDRL activities
• Strengthen linkages with scientific bodies for ex: climate-related early warning mechanisms
• Encourage systematic collection of sex and age disaggregated data during emergencies
• ICCG to work on the standardization of assistance packages
• Work to continue on Common Operational Datasets and their systematic use in disasters
• Find a mechanism for tracking cluster progress towards strategic goals
• ICCG to discuss a joint proposal for funds to strengthen coordination
