STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Airports Authority of India (AAI), Jammu came forward to facilitate airlifting of strand- ed passengers in Jammu by accommodating operation of rescue flights planned by IAF during last three days as per requirement of the State authorities. In wake of recent heavy snowfall in Kashmir and landslides on Jammu Srinagar highway, a number of people got stranded in Jammu. In rescue flights operated on Sunday and Monday, around 893 passen- gers were airlifted from Jammu Airport. The AAI has made special arrangements to accommo- date above movements including late evening depar- ture while ensuring least effect to the normal Aircraft movement from the civil dis- persal in wake of the sheer size of transport aircraft deployed by IAF for the pur- pose, thereby providing a huge relief to the stranded people including students. Although these people cre- ated ruckus on the city side of the airport on Tuesday to the extent of damaging AAI property and causing incon- venience to bonafide passen- gers and were controlled with use of police force. However on Tuesday security person- nel were ferried by these additional flights. STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Principal Secretary Transport, Animal Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon, on Tuesday direct- ed the Motor Vehicle Department to hold camps for regular eyesight check- up of commercial drivers to minimize accidents. The Principal Secretary was speaking at a meeting he chaired here today. The meeting was attended by IGP Traffic Alok Kumar, DG Budgets Muhammad Yaqoob Yatoo, Director State Motor Garages Zakir Hussain Choudhary, RTO Jammu Deep Raj and other concerned officers. HC earmarks separate room for inspection of judicial records STATE TIMES NEWS SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir High Court (JKHC) on Tuesday earmarked separate room for inspection of the judicial records by the Advocates or concerned party. "It is impressed upon all the concerned that if any advocate/authorised agent/litigant/party/or other than the party i.e. stranger, intends to inspect the Judicial Record or concerned case file pending in this wing of the High Court, same shall be inspected by the concerned after adhering to the set procedure governed under Rules 208 to 224, Chapter-XX of J&K High Court Rules of 1999. It is further notified that a separate room has been identified exclusively for inspection of the record by the Advocate or concerned party/litigant/authorised agent or stranger. However, the permis- sion for inspection of the record shall be granted strictly as per the Rule in vogue," reads the notice issued by Registrar Judicial, Srinagar. DC Doda, CMOs Samba, Kathua ask NHM employees to join duties within 48 hrs STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Deputy Commissioner Doda and Chief Medical Officer Samba asked the NHM employees, who are on strike for the last several days, to join back to their duties with immediate effect or else action with taken against them. The staff under National Health Mission, both medical as well as para medical/man- agement units of district Doda have gone on strike from January 14, 2019 as a conse- quence of which the work in the health institutions in the district has suffered adverse- ly and it has become very difficult for Health Department to cope up with the rush of patients, DC Doda said adding that NHM staff in violation of the terms and conditions of their engagements have continued with un-authorised absence from duty thereby hampering the smooth functioning of the Health Department. Under such circumstances, he said, it has become imperative and unavoidable to serve notices to all the employees of NHM of district Doda, (both Medical as well as Para Medical/ Management units) to join back their duties within 48 hours failing which the services of all absentee staff of NHM shall be terminated without further notice. In view of the above, DC directed the CMO, Doda not to draw/disburse the dues/ remu- neration of the NHM Medical/Paramedical/ Management units for the period of absence from their legitimate duties. Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer Samba asked all the emplovees under NHM in District Samba, who are on unauthorised strike, to resume their duties within 48 hours of issuance this notice otherwise their engagement ender NHM Programme will be terminated. "Quite a number of employees including, MBBS doctors, paramedics programme man- agement unit have been held under NHM scheme on contractual basis in district Samba and all these employees have proceeded on unauthorised strike with effect from January 14, 2019 resulting in disruption of essential services to the patients," CMO Samba said. He said such an unauthorised strike of NHM employees is leading to a lot of inconven- ience to the patients as well as administration. Chief Medical Officer Kathua also asked the NHM employees, who are on strike for last several days, to join back to their duties within 24 hours failing which their servic- es will be terminated without further notice. DGP issues promotion orders for 41 police personnel STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Director General of Police Dilbag Singh on Tuesday issued promotion orders in favour of 11 Sub Inspectors and in-situ promotion in favour of 30 officers. Eleven Sub-Inspectors from Armed Wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police have been promoted to the rank of Inspectors and one Sub Inspector from J&K Auxiliary Police has been promoted in the pay scale of Rs 35,900-1,13,500 Level-6 E vide PHQ order number 622 and 623 respectively. Those who promoted include Khurshid Ahmad, Naiz Ahmad, Sajad Hussain, Jagjeet Singh, Nisar Ahmad, Menaz Kousar, Pooja Kumari, Annu Dutta, Rempy Khajuria, Ishah Mahajan and Anita Bandhral. DGP also issued In-situ promotion order in respect of thirty officers who include two DySsP, twenty four Inspectors, and four Sub Inspectors in the pre-revised pay scale Rs 9,300-34,800 with grade Rs 4,300. The in-situ promotion in respect of these officers has been issued vide PHQ order number 626 of 2019. The promotion orders were issued after Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) cleared these personnel for the promotions. STATE TIMES NEWS SRINAGAR: Army on Tuesday paid tributes to late Havildar Baljeet who made the supreme sacrifice during a Counter Terrorist operation on February 12, 2019 at Village Ratnipora of Pulwama District, wherein one terrorist was eliminated. In a solemn ceremony at BB Cantonment, Lt Gen K.J.S Dhillon, Chinar Corps Commander and all ranks paid homage to the martyr on behalf of a proud nation. In a show of solidar- ity, representatives from other security agencies were also present to pay their last respects to the martyr.Late Havildar Baljeet, sustained bullet injuries during a fierce operation at Ratnipora vil- lage. He was provided immediate first aid and evacuated to 92 Base Hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The martyr, late Hav Baljeet, was 35 years old and had joined the army in 2002. He belonged to Village Dinger Majra of Karnal District, Haryana and is survived by his wife, daughter and son. DC Doda, CMOs Samba, Kathua ask NHMemployees to join duties within 48 hrs

STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: Deputy Commissioner Doda and Chief Medical Officer Samba asked the NHMemployees, who are on strike for the last several days, to join back to their duties withimmediate effect or else action with taken against them.

The staff under National Health Mission, both medical as well as para medical/man-agement units of district Doda have gone on strike from January 14, 2019 as a conse-quence of which the work in the health institutions in the district has suffered adverse-ly and it has become very difficult for Health Department to cope up with the rush ofpatients, DC Doda said adding that NHM staff in violation of the terms and conditionsof their engagements have continued with un-authorised absence from duty therebyhampering the smooth functioning of the Health Department.

Under such circumstances, he said, it has become imperative and unavoidable to servenotices to all the employees of NHM of district Doda, (both Medical as well as ParaMedical/ Management units) to join back their duties within 48 hours failing which theservices of all absentee staff of NHM shall be terminated without further notice.

In view of the above, DC directed the CMO, Doda not to draw/disburse the dues/ remu-neration of the NHM Medical/Paramedical/ Management units for the period of absencefrom their legitimate duties. Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer Samba asked all theemplovees under NHM in District Samba, who are on unauthorised strike, to resumetheir duties within 48 hours of issuance this notice otherwise their engagement enderNHM Programme will be terminated.

"Quite a number of employees including, MBBS doctors, paramedics programme man-agement unit have been held under NHM scheme on contractual basis in district Sambaand all these employees have proceeded on unauthorised strike with effect from January14, 2019 resulting in disruption of essential services to the patients," CMO Samba said.

He said such an unauthorised strike of NHM employees is leading to a lot of inconven-ience to the patients as well as administration.

Chief Medical Officer Kathua also asked the NHM employees, who are on strike forlast several days, to join back to their duties within 24 hours failing which their servic-es will be terminated without further notice.

JAMMU: Director General of Police Dilbag Singh on Tuesday issued promotion ordersin favour of 11 Sub Inspectors and in-situ promotion in favour of 30 officers.

Eleven Sub-Inspectors from Armed Wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police have beenpromoted to the rank of Inspectors and one Sub Inspector from J&K Auxiliary Policehas been promoted in the pay scale of Rs 35,900-1,13,500 Level-6 E vide PHQ ordernumber 622 and 623 respectively.

Those who promoted include Khurshid Ahmad, Naiz Ahmad, Sajad Hussain, JagjeetSingh, Nisar Ahmad, Menaz Kousar, Pooja Kumari, Annu Dutta, Rempy Khajuria,Ishah Mahajan and Anita Bandhral.

DGP also issued In-situ promotion order in respect of thirty officers who include twoDySsP, twenty four Inspectors, and four Sub Inspectors in the pre-revised pay scale Rs9,300-34,800 with grade Rs 4,300. The in-situ promotion in respect of these officers hasbeen issued vide PHQ order number 626 of 2019.

The promotion orders were issued after Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC)cleared these personnel for the promotions.
