The White Hart Royal is a hidden treasure in Moreton in Marsh in the beautiful Cotswolds, providing a great atmospheric alternative to modern hotels. Our Grade II listed 18th century Coaching Inn is full of character and history and is famous for sheltering King Charles I who stayed here following the battle of Marston Moor in 1644.

The hotel boasts two suites for private dining, two delightful period lounges, an AA rosette restaurant, a stunning courtyard decorated with pretty fairy lights and for the colder months a beautiful snug bar with a traditional roaring fire. our suitesWe offer a choice of suites to host your memorable day. The Oxford Suite has high ceilings, chandeliers, private bar and sprung dance floor. Situated on the first floor of our Inn, it overlooks our beautiful courtyard, and can cater for up to 50 day guests and 80 guests evening guests. It is also above the Oxford Lounge, which is ideal for your arrival drinks or an unobtrusive resting area.

For the more intimate gathering, we have the Evesham Lounge, nestled away at the front of the building, which is ideal for smaller private dining. Located on the ground floor, it overlooks the high street. The Evesham Lounge features a stunning fireplace, a dining and seating area for up to 14 guests with an adjoining lounge, and is perfect for an after dinner night cap.

The Evesham is also an ideal dining area for you and your close family and friends to enjoy the night before your wedding day.

Situated in the heart of the picturesque town of Moreton in Marsh, we are conveniently close to St David’s Church. We are also fully licenced for ceremonies in the Oxford Suite should you wish to hold your whole celebration with us.
