Of all the events in life nothing can be more memorable or important than your wedding day. From your very first visit to the moment you walk down the aisle on your special day, your wedding co-ordinator and wedding team will be on hand to deliver excellence in every part of your experience, so that when the day arrives you can simply relax and enjoy the magic of your special day.

A beautiful Tudor mansion situated on the south side of the River Avon standing in landscaped grounds, the hotel is rumoured to be where the first performance of Midsummer Nights Dream took place. One of Stratford’s premier wedding venues, it is the perfect backdrop for your special day. We aim to encompass the comforts and service you would expect from a modern hotel, whilst retaining the romance of a bygone age. The hotel has retained many of its original features such as oak panelling in the lounge and bar, leaded windows and an Elizabethan staircase.

Our wedding at Alveston Manor Hotel was a dream come true. A truely stunning location and surroundings. The hotel staff did everything they could to make our day special, down to every detail on the table decor. The hotel events coordinator is a credit to the hotel. Thank you a day we will remember forever.

WHERE TO SAY ‘I DO’

Cedar Room Accessed via the Blue Lounge, this attractive room looks out through leaded panoramic windows on to a manicured lawn with the famous Cedar Tree as a backdrop. The Suite has French windows leading out to the terrace and gardens which, in the summer months, provides a perfect location for your drinks reception and family photographs. Seating up to 150 guests for a civil ceremony, 130 for wedding breakfast and 150 guests at the evening reception, it is an ideal room for a larger celebration.

Avon Room The Avon Room is a private dining room and is light and airy with windows overlooking an inner courtyard. It can accommodate a civil ceremony for up to 50 guests and a wedding breakfast for up to 40, ideal for a smaller wedding party or family gathering.

Atherstone Located in the modern wing of the hotel, this room is licensed for a civil ceremony of up to 50 guests.

Exchange your vows at Macdonald Alveston Manor and be greeted with unrivalled elegance at every turn. With three licensed civil ceremony rooms, seating from 40 to 150 guests, you are sure to be surrounded by your loved ones when saying those all important ‘I Do’s’.

Civil Ceremony The maximum civil ceremony numbers are inclusive of registrars, photographers, videographers, musicians, newlyweds and all guests. Couples should contact and book their registrar directly.

Say ‘I Do’ with your guests seated around you to witness and share in your special moment. A number of rooms can be used for civil, partnership and humanist ceremonies.

Our Head Chef and award winning team are passionate about the food they serve and know, when it comes to quality, it is the little details that make all the difference. That is why they use only the finest seasonal ingredients and source only the best produce available.

Many thanks for all your help to ensure that our Wedding was a success. The entire time we were at the hotel everything ran smoothly and all the guests were served with excellent food throughout the Wedding Breakfast and evening buffet. Your careful planning made sure we had a wonderful day to remember.
