Cut and glue pictures that belong in the appropriate column. Writing Manhattan Schooling Use the sheet Manhattan Schooling to complete the following activity. Imagine that it is your first day at your new school in Manhattan (New York). Look at the picture below and write some feelings you would have, then write a sizzling start about going to the school for the first time. Things to do in New York With a partner, research 10 things you want to do if you got the chance to go to New York. While you research, write a list of the things you would like to do as well as give a brief explanation as to why you and your partner would like to do that thing. School Leader Imagine that your school is looking for a new school captain. You are to prepare a speech that goes for no more than 2 minutes. Your speech must talk about why students should vote for you, what qualities you have as a leader and what action you will take at school to be an effective leader.
