1) Click on K – 8 Standards or click on High School Standards.2) There are bright colored tabs.

Click on a grade for K – 8 or click on a Domain for High School.3) A grey screen will open with links. Click on a topic or click on show all. 4) A new link will appear. Click on the title or click on see illustrations.5) A new window opens. Look at the standard or domain.

Click on any title and view the lesson.6) If you want to use the lesson, click on download to pdf.7) Then, decide if it is fine as it appears. Or, if you need to revise it, copy and paste the needed

information into a Word document.8) Download/save the supporting documents.

To locate Lessons:1) Click on the Lessons tab at the top.

These are formative lessons (tasks)2) Pull down menu:

Choose high school or middle school.3) At the left, click on one of the titles.4) Scroll through the information about the lesson. See what standards are addressed.5) At the bottom, under Resources, click on the .pdf of the lesson. Save to your desktop.6) Revise the lesson, if needed, and save the supporting documents.7) Sometimes, there is a power point or other supporting resources. Save them.

To locate assessments (MAP summative assessments):1) Click on Tasks Tab at the top of the screen.2) Then, at the left, choose a task from either Expert, Apprentice, or Novice category.3) Click on a title. Scroll through the explanation. The Resources are located at the bottom of the

page. A scoring rubric is usually provided.4) Save the original documents to your desktop. Then decide how to revise it.

To locate resources by Standard, click on the Standards tab at the top:1) At the far RIGHT, there are titles of activities. They might be lessons, tasks, or assessments.2) Click on the title to view the type of resource with the supporting document.3) Revise, if needed, and save the supporting documents.

decide how to revise it. Save the revised document with a new name.
