Hello Chamber Members! This newsletter is an especially important one because inside you will find our ballot for the election of the Chamber Board of Directors for the 2019-2020 year. We received great interest from individ- uals who would like to be a part of the Chamber and help our community in a multitude of ways. We have some wonderful nominees and need your help to make the selection. We are looking to fill seven seats to compromise our board of 18 individuals. This year is a big year for change and coming together to show unity in our community. We have some impactful initia- tives we are working on this year that include cohesiveness among all Cheyenne County communi- ties, financial stability and more fundraising opportunities, increasing benefits for membership, and community improvement through economic development. There are great things coming our way and we are excited to add some new board members to our group. We appreciate your consideration of our ballot and encourage you to vote. Please make sure to turn your ballots in to the Chamber through the instructions listed on the form. The Cheyenne County Chamber Dress Down Day Committee presented The Potter Car Bowl with a check from Dress Down Days, The Potter Car Bowl Committee appreciates the fund-ing as it helps them put on a family friendly event and helps keep it free to the public. Potter Car Bowl is typically the last weekend in June.

The Dress Down Committee accepts applications monthly, charities that are wishing to be considered are required to fill out a application form, which is available on the Cheyenne County Chamber website. It can be printed, directly from the website. Dress Down Day happens the third Friday of the month.

Thank you for being one of the first twelve to renew your chamber membership for 2018.

The Cheyenne County Chamber Leadership Cheyenne County class had it’s Kick off. The Class met at the Cheyenne Coun‐ty Chamber. A er the introduc ons the paper towers tower’s where built , 30 newspapers, one roll of masking tape and working with people you many not have ever met before. The class also traveled to Camp Look Out to learn the history of Sidney. The next Leadership Class will be October 18 at WNCC Sidney Campus.
