Activated Carbon Filter

Activated carbon is extremely porous having large

surface area which can easily adsorb moisture. Its hugesurface area enhances chemical reactions with various

materials and result in purification. We are involved inmaking activated carbon filter which remove unwanted

biological and chemical contaminants from water. our filter are extremely productive and useful.

Pressure Sand Filter

Pressure Filter is a closed cylindrical vessel either

vertical or horizontal (mostly vertical) containing thefilter media over a collector system. Water flows from

top downwards percolating through the media and isdrawn off through the collector system at the bottom.

Cycle of operation include back washing with or without air scouring, short rinse to waste and return to

operation.

The filter will effectively give clarified water having

suspended solids to less then 20 ppm. The filter willhave to be washed with Clarified water periodically.

Spray Filter



Performance: The degree of fractionation and/ or microstraining depends on many factors; inlet

consistency, spray pressure, inlet filler content, micronopening size, and particularly fines content of the fiber

fraction.

The following results can be expected:

y Coarse impurities are separated out. All the

water ismicrostrained.y The fiber fraction is retained by the cloth and

can be recovered.

y Changes in fiber content by the KROFTASpray Filter are minimized so that subsequentclarifiers operate under a uniform load. The

KROFTA Spray Filter improves the operationof clarifiers especially floatation ones, as it

aerates the effluent making it more adaptable tofloatation.

Moving Bed Bio Reactor (MBBR)

The KROFTA MBBR is a variant of submergedaerated filter technology. It provides a small footprint

Krofta Offers Two Type Of Membrane Bio-Reactor System.

Pressure Driven (Side-Stream Filtration):

Sequencing Batch Reactor

Krofta SBR is an aerobic biological system that has been successfully used to treat both municipal sewage

and industrial wastewater. The SBR process has beenextensively used worldwide over the past decades, by

collecting the raw wastewater in a batch reactor anddecanting the treated wastewater after eliminating

pollutants i.e. BOD, COD, TSS, nitrogen and phosphorous. The process is conducted in an

alternating aerobic / anoxic / aerobic conditions by a batch process of filling (introduction of raw

wastewater), aeration (for bacteria respiration), settling(solid separation) and decanting (final effluent

evacuation and removal).

BASIC PROCESS DESCRIPTION:

FILLING: Tank is filled with the incoming waste-

water. To enable maintaining of most optimized F/Mratios, waste water is taken into the tank by way of a

quick yet controlled method. Helps as an enhancer for bacterial growth for better settling.

REACTION: During this period aeration continuesuntil complete biodegradation of BOD and nitrogen isachieved. After the substrate is consumed famine stage

starts. During this stage some microorganisms will die because of the lack of food and will help reduce the

volume of the settling sludge. The length of theaeration period determines the degree of BOD
