New Study: EMF exposures from laptops on laps may
exceed safety guidelines for fetus
Bellieni CV, Pinto I, Bogi A, Zoppetti N, Andreuccetti D, Buonocore G. (2012). Exposure to
electromagnetic fields from laptop use of "laptop" computers.Arch Environ Occup Health.
2012;67(1):31-6.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=22315933
The authors measured EMF exposures from 5 commonly used laptop of different brands.
.the power supply induces strong intracorporal electric current densities in the fetus and in the adult
subject, which are respectively 182 263 % and 71 483 % higher than ICNIRP guidelines to
prevent adverse health effects.
