Project LocationMetro Air Park is strategically located eight miles northwest of the City of Sacramento directly east of Sacramento International Airport between Interstate 5 and Elverta Road, both of which connect to the Highway 99 to the east. Interstate 5 and Elverta Road/Highway 99 provide excellent visibility into the development and access to a regional network of freeways serving the Central Valley and Northern California.

The park can currently be accessed through Hwy 99 / Elverta and Elkhorn Roads. The Sacramento County recently approved a land purchase for the new I-5 interchange project - this will create a new arterial locating about halfway between the Airport Blvd and Hwy 99 interchages.
