About the Faculty Development Programme

Teaching-learning is an important process in academic

instuons. Transfer of knowledge takes place from the

teacher to the students only when the teaching is effecve.

The Dept. of APT & CAE, VTU-CPGS, Bengaluru Region is

organizing the Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on the

topic “Recent Trends in Renewable Energy resources”. This

FDP provides a plaorm to learn various tools, technique and

applicaon in the area of renewable energy sources as an

alternave fuels. This programme also focuses on exploring

various research opportunies and challenges in this area.

Objecves of FDP

Our moo is to establish renewable energy park at VIAT,

Muddenahalli campus. In this direcon, FDP helps in bringing

awareness among the VTU, VIAT facules towards achieving

the goal. It also provides knowledge and basic informaon on

renewable energy to the students and facules of various

Engineering colleges.
